Blackburn vs West Brom
Sheffield Wednesday vs Leicester
Portsmouth vs Oxford united

The Blackburn games interesting because both teams have found some kind of form so I'd settle for a draw on that one

Sheffield Wednesday aren't getting any result against Leicester so that's a s**t one for us

We need to go to Portsmouth and win no other result will do us any good πŸ€žπŸ™

Portsmouth team and formation at Norwich:

Nicolas Schmid

Terry Devlin
Regan Poole
Madiodio Dia
Connor Ogilvie

Luke Le Roux
Marlon Pack

Millenic Alli
Conor Chaplin
Gustavo Cabellero

Colby Bishop

Portsmouth were without Ebou Adams and Zak Swanson. Conor Shaughnessy is expected to start on Monday with Andre Dozzell.
Jacob Brown could come in for Colby Bishop.

Pompey will be encouraged by that Norwich draw yesterday so it’s now made this game even harder.

I think both Blackburn and West Brom will both be fine now and its three points for Leicester on Monday and I think they have enough quality to get out of it.

Its hard to see past both us and Pompey going down regardless of what happens on Monday sadly.

Pompey mate said that they absolutely robbed Norwich yesterday, he's really not confident about Monday.

I wonder if Lankshear playing 90 mins yesterday, was because he is not starting on Monday? I know Prelec hasn't got the goals yet (limited opportunities) but I'd quite like to see him start on Monday, I think he has the potential to link up play quite well. I also think teams know exactly what they are going to face with Lankshear, so a change up top might be the way to go.

Spencer for Roosken seems the obvious switch, no point rushing Currie back with Spencer available.

To put things into perspective, this is the form of the relegation candidates in the past 6 games:

Blackburn: 2 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses: 8 points
West Brom: 2 wins, 3 draws, 1 loss: 9 points
Portsmouth: 0 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses: 2 points
Leicester: 1 win, 3 draws, 2 losses: 6 points
Oxford: 3 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss: 11 points

There's only one side in there that's not been picking up points in recent games. That's not to say that they couldn't turn it around, but they're the side currently that don't look like they're getting near the 50 point mark

Please please please: none of this β€œA draw will be ok as it keeps us in the hunt, and we have these home games to come, and they’re probably six points and …….. blah blah”
We have to WIN at Portsmouth.
Inclined to agree… mathematically it isn’t but with Leicester playing Wednesday, and Blackburn and West Brom playing each other. The tables likely to look awful if we don’t win.

Flip side is 3 points and we go above Pompey and one or both of Blackburn and Albion drop points. We stay right in the mix and we’re eyeing up Watford at home with nothing to play for (and still have our Sheffield Wednesday game to come).

That's the spirit. Might as well just stay at home rather than going and giving the team your support

We are right in the mix , win , draw or a sickening loss we are not down after Monday although of course a massive blow if we don't pick up at least a point ( obviously desperate for all 3 ) we need to believe and support until the end and we can stay up.
I bet WBA after being 2 up v Wrexham are gutted , Leicester unable to beat PNE at home and Pompey on a dreadful run with injuries are in exactly the same boat as we are. COYY going to be edge of your seat stuff

United's support and vocal backing will be brilliant on Monday, it always is at Portsmouth. They will do the club proud, whatever the result.

Blackburn/West Brom draw and Festa lose, we win.

Life remains interesting for all the teams involved. :)

Unfortunately the likelihood of Leicester losing is on a par with Port Vale beating Chelsea in the cup, we all know what happened there. But we still have Wednesday so we if we match their result Monday it’s advantage us.

Stranger things have happened........ and Leicester are shocking at the moment. :)

It’s about 35 games since Wednesday won so it would certainly be among the stranger things to have happened, 17 losses in the last 18 games as well. Unfortunately they are just making up the numbers, barely in the league.
