.....NB: Can we never ever have to hear "Oh when the saints go marching in" in the away end at Pompey, EVER again? Absolute cringe fest.

Yes I paused the OUTV audio stream to get it in sync - not possible with FM radio!I try that but can only do it if the radio is behind the video - yesterday it was ahead, so no chance
I thought I'd be able to get RadOx on Sounds, which I can pause, because it wasn't a 3pm kickoff. But come 12.30 they turned it off![]()
Ah right, I don't have OUTV. Looked for pausable DAB radios on Sunday but they don't seem to be made any more, the suspicion is that it caused broadcast rights problemsYes I paused the OUTV audio stream to get it in sync - not possible with FM radio!
If you want the OUFC comms on matches, you're best off watching it on FawaNews: www.fawanews.comAh right, I don't have OUTV. Looked for pausable DAB radios on Sunday but they don't seem to be made any more, the suspicion is that it caused broadcast rights problems![]()
Completely agree - embarrassing. Together with the response of "We're Oxford United, we do what we want" when the announcement about racist language was made in the second half (even though the incident was clearly in the Pompey half). Mindless.NB: Can we never ever have to hear "Oh when the saints go marching in" in the away end at Pompey, EVER again? Absolute cringe fest.
The morons probably didn’t see it, I’m always amazed that some of our fans spend a huge amount of our away games just looking at the nearest home supporters and spout vitriol with the relevant hand gestures.Completely agree - embarrassing. Yeah but it's the football innit, not the facking opera. Or something. The morons probably didn’t see it, I’m always amazed that some of our fans spend a huge amount of our away games just looking at the nearest home supporters and spout vitriol with the relevant hand gestures.
That's been going on since the 60sThe morons probably didn’t see it, I’m always amazed that some of our fans spend a huge amount of our away games just looking at the nearest home supporters and spout vitriol with the relevant hand gestures.
Ah, OK. That’s all right then. That's been going on since the 60s
Who said it was alright then ???? No-one..Ah, OK. That’s all right then.
I usually get RO via bbc Sounds too. Was listening at ko and it stopped. After a couple of minutes I tried via bbc Sounds again and it was going great, no blockingI thought I'd be able to get RadOx on Sounds, which I can pause, because it wasn't a 3pm kickoff. But come 12.30 they turned it off![]()
Fawanews has been a god send for me! I love itI usually het RO via bbc Sounds too. Was listening at ko and it stopped. After a couple of minutes I tried via bbc Sounds again and it was going great, no blocking
I then started Fawas and wow, they had to comms too. And synced.
Are you in the Oxford area? Being in N Essex the BBC Sounds options normally gets cut off (although against Coventry earlier in the season I was able to listen via Sounds).I usually het RO via bbc Sounds too. all this swearing! i blame the f*****g parentsThat's been going on since the 60s
No, I'm in the Netherlands. It maybe that BBC Sounds does not cut off for overseas listeners. But you must go to BBC Sounds AFTER kick-off. At KO time , I had been listening to the build-up but it stopped at KO. I then waited 2 minutes and tried Sounds again. With succes. And all our matches this season have been on Fawanews.com.Are you in the Oxford area? Be good to know if there are other options as I was unable to listen/watch live and couldn't find it on TV or radio via iFollow.
I've not been able to get it to stream consistently for more than 20 seconds at a timeFawanews has been a god send for me! I love it
Is that due to your connectivity? It can be a bit patchy a times, but largely, I've had no issues with it.I've not been able to get it to stream consistently for more than 20 seconds at a time
Those links (fawanews etc) always look really dodgy and want credit card details etc. Are they generally safe to use?Is that due to your connectivity? It can be a bit patchy a times, but largely, I've had no issues with it.
However, now that we're in the 'big leagues' there are alternatives: https://next.soccerstreams100.io
Just make sure that you have a good ad-blocker installed.
I will do my best to post streaming links for all matches on the relevant matchday threads.
Yes, FawaNews and next.soccerstreams are safe. They never ask for any personal/financial information. All you need to do is close a few popups/ads and you'll be good to go. It's worth downloading an ad-blocker if you're watching on your phone. You'll then bypass any ads/popups that may appear malicious. Those links (fawanews etc) always look really dodgy and want credit card details etc. Are they generally safe to use?
Yeah it keeps stopping, and producing popupsI've not been able to get it to stream consistently for more than 20 seconds at a time
Yes. If i use fawa I typically have to reload the page midway through each halfI have been using fawanews since iFollow stopped. Never had any requests for personal info of money. Sometimes it does get a bit jerky, then I leave the match, refresh the front page and start watching again. I think it gets jerky because there are too many people on the same match. Restarting refreshes the buffer for a while.
Also, but I don't know for certain, I think you get higher up the list of active subscribers.
Yeah it keeps stopping, and producing popups
Making exceptions to this site!Adblock is the answer
this should cover everyone. You’ll notice navigating the web in general is a better place when installed.
Use Brave as your browser ads and links will be goneThose links (fawanews etc) always look really dodgy and want credit card details etc. Are they generally safe to use?
