The big takeaway from me ( as well as the lack of pace generally ).

With the amount of ball we have we simply need far more quality from our fullbacks. The ball in is too often poor.

Ive said this repeatedly. Individually there is nothing wrong with Ruffels and Long. However playing them together leaves a very flat back line.

It’s why our best football last year was played with Cadden in the side who hauled the whole team forward.
