Oh go on then, I'll start one.

A month ago I was really looking forward to this. We were on a decent unbeaten run and Brentford were in free fall. Whilst our opponents haven't exactly turned it around, drawing their last three, we've fallen utterly flat and now my enthusiasm has dipped.. We've struggled not just with our results but in tired, lethargic and mentally shot performances. I was hoping we'd have at least a full seven days to recover but the games come thick and fast at this time of year. The threadbare squad isn't coping.

Jordan Graham should play tomorrow so that's at least one thing to look forward to. Might we see Sykes too?

My prediction: Brentford 3 Oxford 1. Two goals in the first 20 mins for them, we net one in the 60th and they get one 10 mins later. The game ticks away for 20 more boring minutes.

I'm off the positive bus, I think we'd reached 'Misery Terminus' and that's my stop ...

I can't see a win either (logically) so will travel more in hope than expectation. Yes, it would be nice to see Graham (who I think will start) and Sykes (probably on the bench).
Neither of them address our striker problem of course and we've lost the last three so I think we need to score first if there is any chance of getting much out of this.
I hope it's not too brass monkeys.

2-1 oxford win , 1600 oxford in the away end , 50 or so in the home end

Yup; pretty much this. Hope the beer’s good.

Eastwood
Hanson Dickie Nelson Ruffels
Henry Mous Brannagan
Whyte Browne Graham

Eastwood channels the magic of the cup as he has a worldie to get us a clean sheet + 0-1 win, Dickie 44’ with the goal.

Nailed on loss for us unfortunately. We're abysmal in the cups and always play weakened sides.

Brentford 0 Oxford 1.

We’re just abysmal at the moment, so probably 2-1 to you, but most of us don’t really care anymore as the league’s more important now unfortunately.

Looking forward to tomorrow, not so much pressure as for a league game so you never know.
1-0 to the U’S a late strike from James Henry sparking scenes in the away end.

COYY

No faith that kr has any idea the best tactics to use, 3-0 Brentford. Oh and the pitch, referee, weather, barebones are to blame.
Hopefully at least 3 new faces. Baptiste, Graham and Irish lad. Does anyone know if Carruthers could return? Maybe Napa on the bench.

Unfortunately that's the attitude with so many clubs now. Never thought I'd see the day we'd rest players against Arsenal, yet we did in the League Cup earlier this season with many of our fans agreeing with it. Sad state of affairs, the FA Cup is also being devalued constantly. Still love it though and 3rd Round day is just about still something special (if you actually kick off at 3pm on Saturday).

this gets spouted out every season in both main cup competitions and the mickey mouse one yet get a prem team or wembley in the latter and every man and his dog wants a ticket....over 12.000 at tranmere tonight why because of spurs? possible but mainly because it was an f a cup tie me thinks.

we headed to port vale with one eye on the mickey mouse cup let's not make that mistake again it's the f a cup and our fans need something to cheer and be positive about
