Oxford face newly promoted Crewe on Saturday.
Crewe were promoted in second place from League 2 on the points per game scoring.
They are level on points with OUFC after also losing their first two league games, before a 2-0 home win over MK Dons last Saturday.

Crewe are a really decent watch and a very handy team! Stacked with loads of young talent (Ng, Pickering, Wintle, Ainley, Kirk....)

Should be a good game but would like to see us start with Cooper on the left up against Ng. Clare will have a tough time against Pickering and Kirk - Henry will have to get through plenty of defensive work (assuming he starts on the right!)

From their highlights against MK they missed a lot of good chances. I thought Charlie Kirk looked a good player.

Need as much pace outwide as possible to try and pin back the Crewe full backs.

It’s an area we are lacking unless we have a signing early tomorrow but probably wouldn’t start

Last weekend Crewe were excellent against MK, whilst missing a fair few. Seem a very strong side.
OUFC 1 Crewe 2
