Others to have played for the U’s and the Swans include Joey Beauchamp, Andy Melville, Matt Murphy, David Penney, Kyle Joseph, Gary Monk,
Dean Saunders, Julian Alsop, Matthew Bound, Dwight Tiendalli and many others.

Strange feeling that there’s just nothing riding on this game - what a treat to have got it all wrapped up last week and we can simply enjoy watching others squirm on the final day instead.
I haven’t had such a good week of sleep in months!
Enjoy the game and let’s see if we can get another rare away win to finish this successful season as high as possible.

And forgot to add… one more big ‘game’ next month to seal a momentous season - let’s get this stadium over the line!

We drove down yesterday afternoon. Absolute hell on the M4 with traffic hold ups everywhere once over the bridge into Wales. Should have been around 2 1/2 hours, took us nearly 4. Hopefully better today but anyone driving might want to leave early. I see the coaches are already on their way!
Clear blue sky and sunny at the moment. Forecast is for 17 - 19 degrees, not exactly beach party weather but it'll do!
Now, where's that ice cream van? I want a proper 99.

I've looked forward to every game this year, but it's so nice to be able to do so without the under-lying nerves that have accompanied most matches.

Beautiful morning in (well, near...!) Swansea, lovely walk in the woods with boy, and looking forward to setting off in a bit for a 90-minute sing song and party.

Hoping to see a nice, open, free-flowing game of football between two teams who have licence to put on a show.

Neither Griffiths or Snowden will get a chance today then as playing in the youth team game this morning.
I think this from GR is more than fair:

“It’ll be easy for me to put three or four young players on the bench for the last game, put them on, and make it look like I’m a youth developer and all of that.

“Lots of people do that, but the reality is we’ve got to be doing that for a reason. Either they deserve it or they’re close to it, or it might be that we feel it’s better for them to have pre-season with us and train with us consistently.

“There’s definitely a plan for some of the young players, which we’ve spoke about consistently.

“I’ve spoken about some of those youngsters having an opportunity. I don’t think an opportunity is just one game with us.

“I think an opportunity should be when the right time is to train with us and when the right time is to stay with us.

“I’ve had good experiences of doing that. We’ll try and make good decisions. It’s either the right thing to do or not the right timing.”

I think today is a good chance to give a few players more gametime whilst resting players we don't need to risk like Cam and Vaulks.

Vaulks has had a major ankle op and Cam really shouldn't aggrevate the knee anymore, but it would be nice if he came on for the last 10 to take the applause he deserves. Played with real heart every time he crossed the white line. Looking forward to next season, let's finish this one on a high. COYY

Could see us playing wingbacks today. If Helik has been carrying a knock so sits out, you have a CB trio of Long, Moore & Nelson - then ter Avest and Leigh as wingbacks. Also allows us to play a more compact midfield given that we’re most likely without both Vaulks and Brannagan (although Cam is on the social media ‘game day’ graphic so perhaps he’s playing after all)
