Let's hope this really is a GOOD Friday!

After the game at Hull I thought we'd be in similar positions at this stage , how wrong I was.

But despite their higher placing they are beatable, ask Albion.

Come on Oxford, JFDI 🟨🟦🟨🟦🟨

Bloomfield and Jakirovic ahead of today’s big game:

It's do or die this Bank holiday weekend.
A must 2 wins no more no less.
If we don't I can't see how we get out of it with 5 matches left. We've got to get out of that bottom 3...
💛💙

I agree.

But if we have to slip up at all this weekend, it has to be today and not on Monday.

Need the six points to really pile on the pressure around us.

If it has to be 3 or 4 points from the next two, then it can't possibly be a win/draw today and loss on Monday.

Come on lads, give it everything you have got.

Also saw the Hull team coach on the M40 yesterday. I hope they had a bad nights sleep.

Is it possible to have more than 2 wins from just 2 matches ? I don’t see how that is possible.

Massive game today, not that anyone needs telling that. Huge for Hull as well. Been up since half six and it’s going to seem a long day till kick off, but you have to try and enjoy these ones, it’s not a humdrum November fixture, that really start to matter now.

I hope the fans are bang up for it and noisy from the first to the last minute of the game we've got four huge home games we can survive this season let's start with 3 points today

4 points would be decent.
A really tough game today. Hull have the 3rd best away record in.the Championship having won 10 of 19 games. They lost at WBA 3 0 recently though, so let's do it.

Mmmmmm I think fans have got the gist of what I'm saying.no need to be smart about it.
Crikey. I was just having a bit of fun. Lighten up.
However if you wish to get salty, please explain how saying that you expect no more than 2 wins from 2 matches makes any sense?

These Easter games will be the make or break 4 points will give us a great chance of staying up ,nil ponts winter look good ,if we are good enough let's make it happen.

Mrs L and self will be there. Dodgy eye or not I wouldn't miss the coming games. Can't do the away games but I hope to be able to see enough (in focus) to enjoy the home games.
Look out for an idiot wandering around bumping into things - it'll probably be me!

We are at that stage of the season where results are being very closely monitored around the grounds.

Getting our heads in front will also have the advantage that players at other grounds will feel the murmurings and tension coming from the crowd.

Let's not let this negative energy work against us!!

Come on Yellows!

Southampton apart (and even that wasn't a disaster) we've been in good form recently and Hull's recent form is patchy so I'm feeling bullish:

Oxford United 3 - Hull City 1.

Four points from the next two games would be great. A draw today would be fine if we beat Pompey.
