Four minutes added time is genuinely one of the most disgraceful things I’ve ever seen from a referee at an Oxford match. Four. Minutes. Four.

Four yellow cards. A red card. A goal. Multiple substitutions. A huge amount of time wasting.

Six minutes would have been an absolute minimum. Seven or eight wouldn’t have been unreasonable.

Four is almost a joke. He may as well have added zero.

My first zero. Objectively Greg Leigh was lucky to stay on in the first half, and the Red v Vaulks probably wasn’t.

But then, the added time, the loss of control of the game, the decision with Helik that cost us the equaliser… so so so much wrong.

Useless

2/10 his decisions changed the shape of the game more than the actions of the players.

Utterly useless. Can’t believe he’ll go home tonight and think he’s had anything but a shocker. Summed up by booking someone for time-wasting after 93 minutes, which was both 45 minutes too late, and completely inconsequential at that stage if the game.

Two cynical trips on Dembele within in the first few minutes that were nailed on yellows if they’d been 25 minutes into the game.

Desperate to get involved when he didn’t need to, and refused to get involved when he should’ve.

Hope someone has let his tyres down.

Manning also said he had a poor game for both teams.

4 mins for 2 reds, 2 goals and loads of subs + wasting!

All been said above. Second red was OK, but apart from that he got every major decision (and many less major) wrong and had no control of the game at any stage.

He was shocking and that says something when he sent 2 of their players off.
An embarrassing performance for a Championship ref.

He ruined what could have been a far more entertaining game with his inconsistent and plainly wrong decisions.

Rodrigues clearly had his shirt pulled on the edge of their box which would have give a great goal scoring opportunity - nothing given. Helik challenge on their player- freekick given leading to their goal.

Numerous examples of time wasting a run of substitutions and he only adds 4 minutes.

Put simply the ref shouldn't be a factor in the result and he was.

Very poor.
Incredibly inconsistent and 4 minutes added on was ridiculous.
Bristol City did make the game difficult to referee.
3 fouls in the first 2 minutes really set out their stall. Add their diving and clutching their heads....

Can I just point out:

This was a game which had two goals, six yellow cards, two red cards, eight corners and five substitution windows, lots of time wasting and even a yellow card specifically for time wasting.

There was a total of 5 added minutes across the whole game. Five. The ref added on a total of five minutes for the time lost for that.

all we ask for is consistency, unfortunately we got someone who was consistently bad!, didn't think the first red was a red, yellow at best and seeing it again wouldn't changer that opinion, 2nd red was all about who go there first, no issues with that, but the whole time wasting and added time, or lack thereof was baffling, probably an over generous 4

He had no control because his decisions were so arbitrary and caused most of the problems thereafter. Terrible terrible refereeing. The players had no confidence in him and therefore constantly pushed their luck. The time wasting was horrendous and allowed to just get worse and worse.
