Thought we played ok but no cutting edge. Lincoln just stopped us any way they could but we have to do better. Too much turning back when on the ball in midfield, need to try getting the ball moving quicker than we did tonight. Onto Friday, regroup, put this behind us and go for it.
Indeed, it comes with the territory. I can't see us smashing 4 or 5 with no reply tonight, so a low scoring win will be very welcome. Lincoln have to win, but I think they will also make it tough, I reckon they will look for an early goal then shut up shop.
Middlesbrough did some silly light show and music before kick off when we played them in the cup a few years ago, came across as trying too hard to build an atmosphere. I am probably of the old school supporter and remember the London road not having to rely on music so am probably out of touch...
Disagree with this, the music drowns out the atmosphere from the fans, waste of time trying to get any atmosphere going if there is a load of tinpot loud music blaring out.
Or for the 'slightly' older folk. Ben Sherman in Shepherd & Woodward, Levi's in Watsons, then a pair of Doc's from the old Millets. Can't remember where I bought the Harrington from!
I was under the impression Fleetwood were on some sort of form going into this game, that was well and truly put to bed if so. Good performance, was hoping to add a couple more after HT but we won at a canter. Well done Des and the boys. Not sure I agree it’s a two horse race for that last play...
Disagree. Manning went to Bristol City with them looking at the play offs, now they are looking over their shoulder at the relegation scrap, which they could still get dragged into, there is every comparison.
