1.66. Almost as high as all the rest of the league season combined.

    Current Player #9 Mark Harris

Yes @Osei Yaw . This is all on the Fotmob website and it's really interesting (to me - I'm not sure the Mighty Aldo is as into stats as I am). His first goal at Derby only had an xG of 0.11. But he hit it high and hard and it had an XGoT of 0.72. He made an OK chance a really good one. He had...

    Current Player #9 Mark Harris

This season Harris has 3 goals from 3.5 XG. He's scored roughly in line with the chances the team has created for him. His XGoT from those chances is 5.2. So he's finished well enough to deserve 5 goals. If you can't argue with facts, I'd say this means he is a goal scorer.

Away Match Day Thread 11/11/2023 L1: Leyton Orient v OUFC

This is absolutely right. Harris got no protection from the ref and still did a great job (at everything other than scoring).

Manager/Coach Life After Manning - New Manager Search

I haven't seen this mentioned on here so just to add... Dean Holden was in the stands yesterday so don't rule him out. Grant Ferguson, Tiger, Tim Williams and Ed Waldron were together in the boardroom before and after the game. Don't know if this means anything, probably just a good opportunity...

Away Match Build Up 10/09/2022: L1 - Shrewsbury Town v OUFC

The Guardian are reporting that the premier league and EFL want games to go ahead, but have had little guidance from government and are waiting to see what the public mood is. I think there's a good chance they'll go ahead.

Away Match Build Up 10/09/2022: L1 - Shrewsbury Town v OUFC

We'll find out tomorrow, apparently. I don't know what the right decision is and suspect some people will be upset either way. Glad it's not up to me. The EFL will probably err on the side of not offending people rather than not inconveniencing people who already made travel plans. But we'll...

National News The Queen - D Day onwards

Football carried on last time according to that Guardian article. But I assume our trip to Shropshire will be off. I agree with most of the other posters... I've never known another monarch and suspect we'll never get another as good, whatever your thoughts on the institution of monarchy. God...

Away Match Build Up 10/09/2022: L1 - Shrewsbury Town v OUFC

I'll be there, even though I predict a bore draw. They are always hard to break down at home, we're not creating much but we're not giving away high quality chances either. Despite the sniping, their manager is really good. To keep Shrewsbury at this level on their budget, a lot of it from a...

Home Match Build Up 03/9/2022: L1 - OUFC v Burton Albion

My guess is that Burton will give us a really good game. If we get ahead, we'll be OK. Fascinated to see the line up.

    General New kit 2022/23

I love the away kit. Really like the third kit. Might buy both. Can take or leave the home kit. It's all just a matter of personal taste, isn't it? Unless the fact the third kit has a collar - like a polo shirt - actually *is* the harbinger of the club imploding, being relegated and going...

    20/08/22 - L1: OUFC v Morecambe

I was going to share this. It's a very good summary of where we are. I always trust George Elek on Oxford. However he has a terrible record when betting on Oxford games on the podcast. Hoping it continues. 🤞

    16/08/22 - L1: OUFC v Lincoln City

We were much better than any of the previous games and created quite a lot. The full backs played much more attacking, we created some overloads and put some good crosses in. We conceded one very sloppy goal and one very Oxford goal (20 yard curler). XG shows we were comfortably creating...

    13/08/22 - L1: Bristol Rovers v OUFC

He was knackered. Went for energy gels and water every 10 minutes. Had to put in far too much energy chasing back into the huge gap between him and Seddon.
