    Ex-Staff Liam Manning

They realistically already have too many points to go but its still a poor display and not what City expected of him - having said that they have a similar delusional virw of their place in the football hierarchy as we do lol

    Ex-Staff Liam Manning

Personally no - we have now seen how he performs in our "promised land" of the Championship so he is not the man for that job (also very clear views on what most City fans think of him too) Having said that, its also pretty clear that our Des is not that man either - not much point making that...

And Murphy - costs far too much for what he delivers

You set the bar pretty low by saying he is better than Des lol

The situation is simple - if the Board are serious about promotion he needs to go now and they need to get somebody with nous in - this is the best chance we are going to have and nice Des will never get us up Of course the Board are not really serious about it so he will stay and we will...

Bang on - one of my favourite players of recent years but its Matty time Would be delighted if he wanted a coaching role here or similar but not a further playing contract

You wouldn't think a man who had 49 goals for us from midfield could score .... really !!!

I still think he can add something for 15 - 20 minutes at the end of a game this season but sadly for such a great stalwart this season will surely be his last playing at this level Sadly reminicent of another diamond geezer Matty last season - and he has done very little in L2 this year too

If Beadle were to go we could do worse than look at Butcher at Argyle - played a bit last season and now their No 3 so may well be willing and able

I think we probably need a more savvy manager to do this rather than a striker - sadly our Board went fotr the nice homecoming story rather than an experienced manager with experience in management at this level

On that logic we must be a pretty spineless club for one man's departure (however dishonourable that might be) to destabilise us like this - our problem is we rushed to replace him with a man with insufficient experience - meanwhile John Eustace is sat twiddling his thumbs

3 league games - 1 point - there are many things we can level at Manning but this isn't his fault - Buckingham and the Board who were so keen to bring in a man with ho FL experience - not quite on the level of Birmingham & Rooney but also out of his depth
