    Manager/Coach Des Buckingham

is it possible that 'they' may have been coming in but before the contract was signed, they reached out to a player at the club and said "I'm thinking of taking the assistant manager role under Des" and the reply was met with enough concerns to worry whoever 'they' were? it was a weird drawn...

One could argue that Des is finally getting lucky with injuries.... if Bolton had been at full strength, we may have witnessed something truly horrific that would live in the minds and pages of record books forever. Fair play Des, at least your luck has improved. 👍

Atkins comes in for alot of criticism but in my eyes, and maybe I'm crazy, his five at the back stopped the rot and should be given credit for that even though it was boring to watch. Rix should never been allowed to be a manager. End of. ....but ignoring his ugly shortcomings for a moment...

But have they..... ? Getting away from Kassam's control, backs against the wall, players not being paid, losing week-in-week-out but it felt like we were in it to some extent. This is the fundamental dismantling of a promotion chasing squad backed by the owners while a new ground is being...

I stick with my previous comments on Des. He isn't working out and a change is needed. If I'm trying to illustrate my point from tonight (as no-one should be sacked after a single awful result)....I'd say the following: In any game, and I mean 'any', the losing side normally have 20 to 25...

In the interests of transparency, please can you outline the Return on Investment strategy the investors are using in respect of the club and stadium? is there a minimum performance requirement for the team this season woven into Des' contract? Have we approached MK Don's about a potential...

on an individual basis, player by player, it often makes great reading seeing the team sheet. the problem, is how they have been playing particularly since Des

He's the manager.... he couldn't bring in an assistant he wanted and got Hackett Sounds like our season. We couldn't get the second place in league one we wanted but avoided relagation. Tidy

I love the fact we have a given managers time to prove themselves. However, I see zero improvement and zero identity on the pitch. Maybe it's as simple as the players don't warm to him but who cares. The truth is we look lost. He's had many games to at least register his brand of football on...

I'm not happy tonight. That was a cracking eleven and an excellent bench. Post Match interview question: "Do you a plan or style?" Des: "Yes, I've changed it two or three times in the last two games" 😂

I'm not a Des fan but I'd say that's probably the best performance by a Des team I've seen. If we'd have won, the general feeling would be positive from many on here. Murphy looked good, Brannagan at his best and Long played well. Overall we weren't troubled by Northampton. If a couple of...

New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

Anyone heard a rumour that members of KPC have taken money to sell and develop Exeter Hall into a supermarket behind the backs of residents ?

For me, it feels strangely similar to the Pep Clotet era but maybe back to front or inside out. Pep started well, then his tatics was found out by other managers and all was lost. Des Ball started poorly, seems to have improved but still can't best a poor team. Regardless of injuries, Reading...

Robinson made a series of poor decisions on and off the field. In the end, the results plus losing the dressing room was his end.

I did. I think I was one of last to lose faith in Robinson. No one wants to see a manager fail

if we get perverbly battered tonight by Portsmouth (5-1 or worse), I fear many will decide enough is enough. I'd like to think I'm not one of 'many' but I fear I could be. I hope I'm not. Tonight has a significant feel about it for sure! On another note, I've heard some worrying rumours...

Thornley, McKechran and Perkins seemed decent additions at the time. Robinson's six mentioned above also seemed pretty good to at the time. Maybe I'm easily pleased? Maybe it's harder than some of us give the manager credit for? Maybe both?
