Des Buckingham had considerably more first team management than 3 of those at the point they took those jobs. It’s a too-simplistic comparison given the number of variables between clubs but I certainly don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a lot more than we’ve had next season.

Hmm, I don’t think there’s anything unlucky about it to be brutally honest. We’ve exposed ourselves to that problem and have to look very much inward if we miss out. Besides, we still have to beat Exeter yet and that’s far from a guarantee.

Playing at a good tempo but we’re making awful decisions. Penalty decision is an utter disgrace and the definitive moment in the game but our defending for the goal was rancid. Got to be better in the final third to salvage anything here.
