Maybe with the games quicker nowadays and with effectively sprinters as players running stop start with high speed turns they are more susceptible to picking up injuries ? Maybe a sports scientist on here will know and share their view?
Lincoln fans are also a decent bunch being good to chat with before and after a game, no saltiness, just enjoy their team and mature enough to acknowledge the other side's performance if they lose.
Nowhere quite like the Manor for a cup game under floodlights. Times change though...and the chance of a midweek replay in the FA cup is something the premier league have eroded and the league cup has diminished again due again to the Premier league and obsession with being a closed shop on...
totally agree, a beautiful stadium, right capacity, ticks all the environmental and sustainability criteria and with that skin wraparound wouldn't be too jarring to the view
probably get away from the area quicker due to the excellent road ands rail links, superb marshalling away form the stadium and Emergency services on site, unlike those poor people in the village itself
My youngest daughter and my son's girlfriend are coming along Saturday and making this their first game of the season. Hoping this will fuel their enthusiasm to come back again :)
