Never seen the point in a pitch invasion. Players can’t celebrate together properly and probably wouldn’t do a lap of honour which would be better for most fans, especially the elderly. Last time I was on the pitch was to protest about the Thames Valley Royals!

When I first read Levy’s objection I thought it was a spoof as it’s so full of holes and nonsensical arguments. If it’s real he’s a buffoon. I’ve just emailed Liz Leffman.

Couldn’t believe how long the ref took to book their number 6. If he’d booked him for fouling, shithousery or dissent in the first half it would have been right. When he finally booked him I assumed he was getting a second (or third) yellow.

Exactly my response. I pointed out that even if the road was to be closed it would just be for a few minutes at 5pm on a Saturday or 10pm on a Tuesday night!

I’ve had a response from my local libdem occ councillor to say while he supports the stadium he will not support any road closures and if this is possible he cannot support the stadium.

Surprised he lasted this long after he asked to be released from his contract due to heart problems only to turn up a Looton a week later 🙄

Isn’t the building of the bridge itself going to bring inconvenience and road closures? Perhaps those pushing for it should consider the impact.
