As the game against Lincoln proved, it's very important not to let them score first. If they do that, it's park the bus time, and all the time wasting antics will come out.

Opera browser has a fee vpn. https://www.opera.com/features/free-vpn Apparently, if you are trying to use a vpnto watch iFollow you need to be registered with a foreign address, and I think you might also need to pay in a cuuency other than gbp. I have no idea how it works for single matches

Home Match Day Thread 16/4/24 Oxford United v Lincoln City

Gutted to give points to a play off rival. Got the feeling before the goal that the Oxford players were a bit guilty of being spoiled from the last 3 games, and being sloppy with passes. Once Lincoln scored they were horrible little imps. Ref was shitand easily conned. We're still in 6th. The...

United still wasteful, but if we keep making chances we'll start scoring. A draw suits us more, but I can't see this ending 0-0

Realistically yes. If we lose the next 2 and Blackpool can win 2, in the process scoring 7 more goals than what we win by then they will go above us on goal differece

Home Match Build Up 16/4/24 Oxford United v Lincoln City

A draw is no good to Lincoln. They will need to come at us. We will have to soak up their pressure, and hit them on the break. That suits us. Having said that, I think that they will be too timid to go at us properly until it's too late. 0-0 draw

Oxford still wasteful in front of goal. We could have got at least 8. Not complaining though 🤣🤣

We also seemed to give the ball away a lot less often, although there is still a lot of room for improvement.

General Rules Changes - Your Opinion

The idea is to reduce time wasting. If players know they might forfeit a throw then they hopefully will stop the pantomime towards the end of games where they are seeing it a 1 goal lead. And yes, rules should be enforced.

General Rules Changes - Your Opinion

I'd like the rule fun rugby that the game only finished when the ball goes out of play. Also: a ball only counts as going out of play if it touches the ground. Fixed time limits on how long a team takes to take a throw in or goal kick. Take longer than say 15 seconds, and it goes to the other...

A lot better. Hopefully that's the shot in the arm they need to give them back their swagger.
