    EPL Kobbie Mainoo

Called up to the full England squad. What little I've seen of him he looks the real deal. The way he drifts past players and is so calm on the ball and his overall demeanor reminds me of Shandon Baptiste. A shame his career has stuttered with injuries.

Away Match Build Up 12/03/2024 L1: Bolton Wanderers v OUFC

More confident of a performance than Saturday. That won't necessarily translate into a result against a better side. Funny old game eh

    Ex-Staff Liam Manning

Don't disagree that the way he acted being the scenes was very poor. I just don't think it's fair to scrutinize some of the interviews he did as I can't remember a manager ever being open about leaving in the public domain.

    Ex-Staff Liam Manning

What did you expect him to say? Football is an industry unlike any other, you're not going to get dragged in front of the office in the real world and get asked about rumor's of you going elsewhere.

    Matches Last 10 Games

I want to see 10 attacking performances where Des firmly shows us his style and what he is about. If we miss out but go out on our sword playing on the front foot it will be easier to swallow than going out with a whimper.

    Current Player #2 Sam Long

Our best sides in recent years IMHO have been when we had Cadden and Baldock at RB. It is such a crucial position both attacking and defensively in the modern game. An upgrade is needed in the summer I am afraid.

Could get a Now TV day pass for the same price (assuming you were going to pay £10 for ifollow).

    Current Player #23 Josh Murphy

Des clearly rates/trusts him more than the previous two managers and it shows in his minutes. In the league under Des he averages 55 minutes per game when he has been fit, compare that with 16 under LM and 41 under KR. The main issue is his injuries to me and not his numbers. He is always a...

General The Board & Senior Management

Spotted Tiger and his family out and about in town earlier on yesterday and saw on Instagram that they were present and the game as well. What % shareholding does he hold these days? Apologies if this is common knowledge but can't seem to find the detail.

Home Match Build Up 13/02/2024 L1: OUFC v Wigan Athletic

Matete for Mcguane Tuesday, then McGuane for RR against Wycombe is how I would play it.

Darrell Clarke must love the fella more than I do. And that’s saying something.

I suspect the striker we are waiting to fall in place is Harry Leonard from Blackburn. Looks like the move will hinge on whether or not Blackburn get the Duncan McGuire signing over the line.

Harvey Knibbs I would take. 11 goals in all comps this season, 6 in League One. Robust, Athletic. Maybe too similar in style to Goodwin for us to pursue. Think we need someone who will offer something different, more of a finisher

Played against him in a pre-season friendly when he was at Bala. Unbelievable engine and athleticism and was too good for the Welsh Prem, however if you'd told me 18 months later he'd be in the Championship I would have been very surprised. Still very raw so be interesting to see his ceiling.

Home Match Day Thread 30/01/2024 L1: OUFC v Portsmouth

Thought Harris lead the line very well yesterday. I have been very impressed with him since the turn of the year, 5 goals in 6 and his all round game has looked sharp. If only we had a genuine back up option that could have picked up the slack when he was struggling for that period earlier in...

Looks like I'm in the minority here but I'm not so hung up on a winger coming in. I think with Leigh now back fit could be given more license to bomb on which would mean we could play Rodrigues off the left with a license to drift inside. That would leave Burey, Goodrham, Bodin, Harris plus...
