New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

No, cyclists would be the only ones to survive, the roads would be jammed with panicking drivers

New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

The ones at the current ground are scruffy and don’t feel secure, plus a scrote nicked my lights from there, so I don’t use them. People would use good quality cycle spaces, though not all 650 straight away.

Home Match Day Thread 19/04/2024: L1 - OUFC v Stevenage

Yes, I guess it was down to Rodrigues to find space and play balls through the middle but he didn’t do a lot. I’m kind of dreading tonight - not because I feel we have to get into the playoffs, but because it’s suddenly within reach despite our mishaps

    FA Cup FA Cup 2024/2025

I think our club management instinctively feel more comfortable with and side with big business - with other guys in suits - rather than with fans or grassroots organizations.

That's funny, I saw Fairport Convention by mistake once in Cornwall. We were in St Ives and passed a theatre that had the doors open, with Fairport Convention playing. They let us come in and watch the last few songs. This was the jolly, beery recent version of the band, not with Sandy Denny sadly!

Yes I can see that argument. I'm not a fan of replays, they drag the tie out and can get tedious. But if the change is driven solely by the PL without EFL consultation it stinks.

Home Match Build Up 19/04/2024: L1 - OUFC v Stevenage

Why on earth would any locally based United fan not go to this?

They'll have better players than Stevenage though and they nearly got into the playoffs, plus he'll add more large brutes and instil his sneaky ways.

Is there any more dreary thought than 'Evans and Rotherham going for promotion out of League One'? Surely we've been here several times. He must be bored himself.

He was very effective yes. I think we were said to be after him at some point? However he's a c*** so it's a no from me.

I gotta say that (having missed Saturday) McEachrean was a revelation, and I really liked the way he stuck to his position.

I thought Leigh was good, always available and energetic. The person who gave the ball away a few times in dangerous areas was Rodrigues - he can do great things but he can also be a real liability.

Home Match Day Thread 16/4/24 Oxford United v Lincoln City

Lincoln basically just cheated. You're right that bookings aren't enough of a sanction for deliberate professional fouls, if the players are canny enough only to do one each and the ref is as hopeless as yesterday's was. Wasn't that why the sin-bin idea was suggested? Though that would slow the...

You lot are so confident! I'm apprehensive, I wouldn't be too disappointed with a draw. I'm more more confident of beating Stevenage than Lincoln.

Also he doesn't come over like an ordinary footballer, he's really articulate and seems very intelligent - he was clearly going to be a manager.
