Manager/Coach KREXIT: The 'Robbo Out' thread.

Karl isn't going anywhere and Chris Wilder is not coming here. Elliot Moore back in defence has been a big positive and Matty can have a good run out tomorrow against the Chelsea kids. Looking forward to Saturday which is the real test.

Home Match Day Thread 18/5/2021 Play Off L1 OUFC v Blackpool

He also has to sell his best players each year to balance the books. It's better to be where we are rather than the Wigans or Boltons of this World. We all know that the present model where rent has to be paid to Mr Kassam every year is unsustainable. Selling Rob Dickie and replacing him with...

Evidently he has come back to us. He seems to have done well at Burton. What position did he play there.

    Championship Play Offs

If we go up we should want Swansea or Barnsley to win the final. That way we would have away games at Bournemouth and Brentford next season. Add that to WBA, Birmingham, Coventry. QPR, Reading, Bristol City, Fulham, Millwall and Luton and we have the best group of accessible away matches that we...

    Championship Play Offs

They had a 4000 crowd at Barnsley but only 2000 at Bournemouth. Evidently Woodgate claimed that it was like having a 12th Man.

How are overseas U's going to watch playoffs?

If it's in sky sports in the UK it should be on ESPN in Oz. The 3am kick off on Wednesday morning is a pain. Might be shown in some pubs. 4:45 am on Saturday is a bit better. We watched last years final in the Madison Hotel in Sydney. They might be showing these live.

    Matches 15 years today

It was the (almost) inevitable culmination of many things which had been going wrong for a long time. It was horrible to watch, but you could see we were on the slippery slope. It wasn't really about Orient or their fans in the end. That was just the final straw. All the same it was satisfying...

Matches 04/05/2021 - Playoff pack games

Pompey still have a grudge against us after the penalty shoot out last year. If we don't go up we will have to play Wycombe again next season. We will have the misfortune of that being our local derby, unless you include Cheltenham.

Home Match Build Up 9/5/2021 L1 OUFC v Burton Albion

Oddly, I think the pressure is more on Pompey. We know what we have to do. Get a win and not worry about Pompey. Pompey know that a draw is not good enough in case we win. They will therefore be desperate to get their win. That can leave them exposed to Accrington who won't roll over and play...

    Potential New Ground

It's value as a football ground is't very much. It's potential value as a commercial or residential site is vastly more. There really isn't much incentive for Mr Kassam to do anything other than keep taking the rent in the short term. OUFC are not in a very strong negotiating position. If they...
