Only time will tell , just don't think that Leigh fits Des system as well as other players may do and will be on a good wage . Not saying he will go but if an offer came in wouldn't be surprised if he did. That's why we have a manager, to make decisions and calls.

If he was fit a very good signing .

He had a very serious injury pre season , hadn't got over it and we gambled that he would. A quality , fit , Butcher available at the same time who would have added to our midfield massively . I wanted him when he left Accy but he went to Plymouth. Signing Matete , Goodwin and Burey was a huge...

Agree re Butcher completely. And they signed Nigel Lonwijk on loan from Wolves who also was a main part of the Plymouth side last season

As for the Wigan away defeat and only drawing at home against a very poor Wycombe team ( last min pen) and throwing away a 1-0 scoreline against Blackpool at home!

I'd imagine Thorniley and Leigh may well be available. Goodrham,Murphy and Brannagan the most likely interesting higher clubs .

Away Match Build Up 27/04/2024: L1 - Exeter City v OUFC

Or Lincoln and Barnsley both fail to win but we do and we sneak into 5th !

, And Manning left , taking his back office staff with him. New man comes in and obviously wants to change style all the time injuries hit some of our best players and a keeper that won us many points departs . Let's see next season as you can definitely see big improvements and a style to what...

Really think that if the recruitment is right and we have more than one CF ,younger midfield options, a physical presence in the midfield,Solid GK as well as a few other changes we will be in for a great season. Not as far away as some love / enjoy making out , real signs of improvement and the...

Not sure he is quite up to Championship standards just yet, another loan I'd say 😉

Home Match Day Thread 19/04/2024: L1 - OUFC v Stevenage

We broke them down time after time, the final ball / finishing let us down this evening. Again why is every team we play ' really poor ' they were very well organised and defending deep.

New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

Said in a grim , determined way while staring off into the distance dreaming of a wonderful new stadium where only nettles and brambles currently live.

Surely any Oxford world would be yellow !! Obviously a Man U fan, cover blown ! 😉 We are here to have different opinions but ultimately to support the team and club , yes calling out poor form etc is part of it but some on here live in a dank, rotting world no doubt red who only see turds or...

    Current Player #22 Greg Leigh

Players also have been known to overhit the ball to players who they have a dislike off to make them look poorer as more chance of making an error , a firm pass yes but the best players stroke the ball ' weight ' the ball rather than say run faster or you should control it !

    Ex Player Ateef Konate

Well he scored twice for Forest u23's .....he is 23 and only played league footy for us and was largely disappointing. Not exactly cracked it just yet

Goodrham having to go off at half time really limited our attacking options as well

Would actually be happy with a point Saturday then set up the Lincoln and Steveage game for two big wins . Obviously would prefer all three but unlikely to happen , three home games in a week will tough going to get all three results . Leave us going to Exeter needing a point would be ideal .

I see that dreadful Fleetwood side got taken apart yet again 0-1 away at Blackpool .

Yes , probably think the 'grime ' is violent and sexual rather than fun / sexy / naughty . The lyrics often are encouraging s**t standards from my older view of it. Actually listening to it while in JD sports today thinking just how low quality it is.
