Transfer News Summer 2024 Transfer Window Thread

When you analyse what Big Boy’s saying, they say little whilst posting a lot. Half the posts are about a shortlist that no one else has seen, which always has the get-out clause of ‘we missed out on them’. Also it’s so broad that one can be right by sheer virtue of luck - a broken clock and all...

Away Match Day Thread 20/07/24: PSF - Solihull Moors v OUFC

Is that for the commentators to decide though? These comms are online exclusives so it’s not like they’re having to present a show for RadOx, the people listening would have wanted to hear the action. The best commentators can blend in the other stuff with commentary of the action to make the...

Transfer News Summer 2024 Transfer Window Thread

Also you'd hope a year since playing and six months without a club might have been good to help him reset and figure out his priorities - I imagine it wouldn't have been easy to have come through the Arsenal and Liverpool academies and played for Rangers only to end up at a soulless club like...

I miss when ITKs - or even professed ITKs - were selective with their information, rather than splurging out info they have to anyone who’ll listen.

I reckon it’s probably time to retire from being an ITK; you’ve seen one list rather than having consistent insider knowledge like UTO or Front Post. You’ve already admitted Ingram wasn’t on the shortlist, so maybe it’s not the fount of all knowledge you want it to be

Ingram ticks a lot of boxes: an experienced goalkeeper with plenty of Championship games under his belt who will compete with Cumming, and he's local too so he should find it easy to settle in.

    EFL Class A Football Ban

But surely that's any rule or law that's been brought into effect? Through a disruptive minority spoiling it for the rest of us. Whilst football was getting better in the 00s and 10s, sadly there are signs of it slipping back into its old ways, with incidents and arrests rising post-covid...

    EFL Class A Football Ban

I feel like this has been handed out to make an example of him. In my mind there's no need to bring coke into any football ground, and drug taking at football grounds will only fuel bad behaviour. And that's before we get onto the damaging and potentially fatal consequences drugs can have in the...

Transfer News Summer 2024 Transfer Window Thread

Spose that's what we were expecting from Matete but it didn't work out for obvious reasons. Another big benefit of bringing in El Mizouni and Vaulks means Cam can play further forward and join the likes of Sibley, Goodrham and Rodrigues as a 10; or play alongside a destroyer as part of a 4-2-3-1.

Transfer News Summer 2024 Transfer Window Thread

Surely the chance to prove it is by being part of the squad, given the amount of subs allowed in game and on the bench. I reckon Moore and Brown will be decent options to have and will feature plenty of times over the season, but I don't think performances from last season can really dictate who...

Transfer News Summer 2024 Transfer Window Thread

I think Moore and Brown will be fine for this level, but we need to be bringing in players with the intention that they're better than what we already have and will upgrade both the squad and the starting XI. If we're spending all this time and effort on bringing in starters for every other...

We now have three left backs and none of them will sport the number 3 shirt

Whilst that’s great on paper, I don’t think Greg will accept being third choice here - I mean he left Ipswich last year where he was second choice. I only see him staying if he’s higher than third choice or he’ll be adapted into a defensive winger (which would be quite useful in some games).

Even if we look past what a condescending response this is, what he’s stating isn’t what people are even asking for. You can add a yellow header and a yellow menu with navy blue text and that’d fix the issue of not enough yellow. But it’s not like I know anything, I only work in digital marketing.

There’s literally no evidence of that happening though. Every signing we’ve made is with a view to build a squad good enough for the Championship. And it’s not like we’re finished in the window either, it’s like complaining your dinner’s undercooked whilst still prepping your ingredients.

    Current Player #28 Stephan Negru

I'd be confident in my convictions that their development would have been impacted more by having Moore alongside them and Mourinho in the squad than with would have with Karl's attack-first coaching.

    Current Player #28 Stephan Negru

I think this is a pretty bad move for him; probably a division below where he's capable of playing, and with a manager who's not famed for setting up his defence well.

    Media New Official Club Website

Would prefer a lick more yellow, but other than that it looks good. I work in a role where I’m regularly involved in website migrations, and there’s a lot that can go wrong, especially when there are years of articles to contend with. Only other thing would be, as others have mentioned, the...
