Away Match Day Thread Aldershot away friendly

Just a word of warning if anyone's going, the M4 is closed from jct 11(Reading) towards London and from jct 8/9 Westbound!
 
I have very fond memories of going to Aldershot, I think it was six years ago?

Peter Leven had one of those games where he was on, and was way too good for the opposition; We crushed them 3-0 and spent a good twenty minutes in the second half singing the Depeche Mode/John-Paul Pittman song (one of the very few occasions when he was fit and playing well enough to be worth rolling that one out).

One of the most relaxed and purely enjoyable away days I can remember!
 
Obika to bag a hat trick. He’s a goal machine at the moment! I’ve always had faith in him, and knew he would come good. No doubt come Barnsley away he will turn goal shy.
 
Amusingly, Jerome just slipped when introducing the game by miscalling them Aldershit.

I’m very surprised Hall is on the bench. It was only a few days ago that Robinson said he hoped he’d be ready to be involved at the start of the season, so that’s quite an escalation on his original return timeline. Hope he isn’t being risked at all.

5 games in the next 10 days, let’s hope for some positive performances, no injuries and a few more signings very soon.
 
I see England U19's won 3-2 from Turkey today.

Nathan Jones Luton manager is there watching.... not watching Luton’s own game tonight which means he must have an interest in one of our players.... can’t be any of the newly signed ones but who do you reckon he’s after from us? Ruffles? Nelson? Henry? Mousinho?

I genuinely was surprised by that, but apparently it's true even if players are from Scotland, Ireland, or Wales...they need international clearance to play in England. (Or was that a wooooooosh?)
