Conned all game by Swansea ...poor referee 4 from me

I've seen better. Missed or ignored a couple of handballs and, looking at the highlights, Brannagans free kick leading to the equalizer should have been a penalty.
Overall 6 but some odd decisions along the way.

I thought it was a pen!

I've tried to freeze-frame the video at the point of contact and zoom in a bit...

I'd suggest the ref just about got the call right, but marginal.

One thought (linked to last 2 refs), is time wasting not an offense anymore? The amount of time taken at throw ins in the Cambridge and Swansea games was ridiculous - both 1st halves had 1 min added. And combined 2nd half added 7 mins (when one mass substitution alone took almost 3 mins).

I thought that he was far better than Saturdays referee.
Generally he let the game flow, wasn't conned by players going down easily and got the big decisions right.

The timewasting has been laughable especially with the PL actively targeting it. The last 2 Refs have been so weak on it. It makes the injury time equalisers giving both opponents no chance to do anything all the sweeter.

Ultimately it didn’t matter, but I’m convinced that the foul in the 92nd minute was inside the box rather than outside.

Somebody on the match thread (I think) has done a freeze frame that looks just outside the box by inches.

So much for giving the advantage to the attacker.
Also did he blow for the foul before we hit the bar? If so, he was lucky that didn’t go in.

Radio Oxford said on the commentary that Findlay was claiming a penalty but that it was outside the box from the footage they were looking at immediately after the incident.

Does he get a high score for not sending McGinty off as it benefited us, or a low one as it was obviously the wrong decision?
Also regarding throw ins, Swansea only took as long as we did with our throw ins
