KR says decision today hopefully on a striker we are after.. Surely if its the chap from Swansea, he won't be able to play against them tomorrow?

Decision today by Kyle would probably mean a few more days sorting out the paperwork so don't expect any changes to the squad for tomorrow

I don’t think this striker KR is on about is Kyle Joseph.

I think we’ve bid for another, and expect a reply from the players parent club today.

Based on anything, or just a hunch? 😲
Informed hunch! Nothing guaranteed but we were increasing our offer on Hardie at the same time as looking to conclude Kyle Joseph which makes me believe that we are still looking at bringing two strikers in.

As Kyle Joseph was at the game on Saturday, I think it’s fair to assume that’s a done deal? Maybe KR is referring to a striker on a permanent?

Another saying, Do Oxford have any money? If so, why/how?
Even I didn't realise the true scale of our finances until recently so they can be forgiven, I suppose! Would be a real kick in the teeth for them to lose him and we know the feeling all to well after the Brannagan episode. I'd like to encourage OUFC fans handle themselves better than Blackpool and wait for an announcement! Have to wait and see - possibly an agent at the centre of this with an angle to secure himself a slice of the investment they've just put in.

After seeing what happened with Blackpool i say if he signs great, if not plenty of other players out there. You can’t discount that it’s not his agent playing games to get him a pay rise or flush out championship interest so no point getting to excited. No harm in bidding either as long as we have alternatives lined up.

Nice to be in a position where we are the club making the offers for once though.

People still haven't cottoned onto our finances and new owners it seems, which I think is a good thing for us. More than happy to be viewed as underdogs rather than have to deal with expectation.
