Was very lazy against Derby imo & offered Seddon very little support, can see him playing at home when we are expected to be more on the front foot mind you.
He was our most dangerous player.
Great run and lob over the keeper early in the first half and made their keeper make a good save in the second.

Defensively was very poor and the way we play means we need our wingers to work back defensively otherwise we are left open. He left seddon 2 on 1 numerous times against Mendez-Laing & their right back. Going forward, he did some good things yes. I agree with you on that.

I think Bodin will flourish more when we have dynamic full backs meaning he can drift. With the XI I picked, it means the full backs selected only have to defend with the dynamic ability of the 3 behind Taylor.
Might be waiting a few more years yet then.

The crafty Bodin in place of Murphy surely? Murphy was anonymous last week and doesn’t deserve to start.

I’m sure the Irish keeper is expecting a summons as well.

Think it will be a difficult game tomorrow and we’ll do well to get the win.

Murphy didn’t get the ball to him much when he came on so a bit unfair you saying he was anonymous.

KR doesn’t dictate the length or questions of the interview does he
Sort of. He and Chris Williams (who will also tell the external media what is or isn’t off limits before they’re granted access) will essentially script it out in advance between them, in terms of what questions will be asked and what the answers will be, what sort of tone they want to portray etc. Pretty standard.

Which is normal for a football club.

The people who need to start asking questions that don’t have a ready made answer are BBC Radio Oxford & The Oxford Mail.

I guess that’s too much to expect..

Like I said, the club will often tell them what is and isn’t to be spoken about. Not all the time, but certainly if there is anything potentially contentious or problematic. I used to be one of the two people whose job it was to do exactly that, and then after that I became one of the people being dictated to.

There is virtually no ‘free press’ anymore. Just people battling to stay afloat in a crippled sector whose only chance of lasting another month is to play by the rules.
