Tickets 2022/23 season tickets

You can send the digital ticket by imessage/whatsapp etc, so it actually can make it easier, in that you don't have to physically lend anything

Will it be a separate qr code for each game or one for the whole season? You would have to really trust the person you sent it over to if the latter.

If you don't get a physical ticket you won't be able to lend it to someone for games you can't make. (Not sure if this is allowed but everyone does it).
take a screenshot of the QR code and message it accross.

Just tried Google pay on mine with mobile data off and it shows my covid pass, bank card and the mk home game qr ticket, so looks like it works without connection. You preload the ticket to the Google pay account and its stored on there prior.
Never activated Google Pay on my handset, interesting. The app is probably on a background sync cycle in the OS in that case then.

one qr code for the season ticket. about the same level of trust as giving them a card.

Though the person can't then 'give it back', so there's a danger of a copy of your ticket floating around.

you don't have to have it set up with a payment card to be able to store virtual cards/tickets. They are stored locally (though backed up to Google account)

all they need to do is photocopy/take a photo and show the barcode.

then again, would only lend to someone I trust

Spun as a price freeze, swallowed by radio ox and ox mail who's tweet now deleted, but strangely my price freeze has resulted in an 8% increase for the digital download.

So 10% increase on the cheapest adult tickets, but only 6% on the most expensive seats?
Not sure the club have thought this one through very well.

Can we also assume that the match tickets will also increase by a similar amount?
ES £22, NS\SSL £26, SSU £28?

Hoping that I don't have to pay an extra tenner on top of mine for my 8 yo to have a physical tkt . He loves having his own card and obviously won't have much of a choice .

Every day there are more price hikes. Shops and services alike. It would be unreasonable to expect football to be any different.

Where I, and Mrs Lounger are getting confused is over the so called "South Stand Upper Premium" seats and then an "add-on" for the lounge facility. What designates a "premium" seat? It used to be that the 1893 club or Manor/Maurice Evans lounge seats were in the first three rows and cost a bit more as part of the package. Now, it would appear, those same seats cost more without any extras. We happen to like our seats and will want to keep them but why should they cost more than a seat 3 rows back?
Any clues @OUSP Secretary ?
I've emailed the commercial team as I don't think it's clear...

seems highly likely.... what ever happened to twenty is plenty?
Given inflation since that concept was first aired, the concept of £20 being plenty is probably pushing towards mid-twenties is plenty.

fair comment .... besides I think, for a season or two at least, it'll be less than £20 for a match ticket for me now

Still to announce the plan for Memberships, these may be something to bridge the gap - I believe there was £2 discount on Match Tickets with the Membership ('Year Of The Ox') this (last) season. Indeed, I wonder if the club will make a bigger play for these this season seeing as there are likely to be a good number of supporters who went to multiple games last season (particularly in the second half of the season) but without either a Season Ticket or Membership.

Come to think of it, the 'Survey' to gauge interest in Season Tickets for General Sale could form a part of that. If they get plenty of declared interest they may recognise that whilst they won't get conversion to Season Tickets for all, that there is sufficient interest to come up with other mid-range packages (6 games etc) as they have done previously.

It was only a few months ago as a thank you that the club issued all ST holders with a nice leather wallet to keep your ST card in. That went obsolete pretty quickly then, my smart phone doesn't fit in it.

I would like to see a big hike in the price for away fans. We get ripped off terribly when we go to support Oxford away, it's not just the ticket price which is extortionate but you then have to pay to park etc as well, something visitors to us don't have to incur. Maybe even match price ranges exactly per team being played eg Crewe last season away no young adult or student price rate so had to pay full adult over 18 rate £25. Do the same when they visit us and don't offer a young person rate. Sod the rules about being in the same stand and same facilities etc, everyone else gets round one way or another, so lets be fair to our own home supporters and start charging away supporters who come to us a lot more. Let the away fans moan how much it is to visit Oxford. Who cares, they'll still come.

indeed it was £2 per game discount with a (£15) membership card

£1 discount per game for my Grandaughter with her (£5) membership card

People want a competitive, promotion chasing team to support. Meanwhile, expecting the owners to continue sticking their hands in their pocket to fund better players and yet, a vocal minority are not happy with a small increase in ST costs - during times that are experiencing inflation like we haven't seen for 30+ years.

You can't have it both ways folks. What do you want more? An extra £30 or so in your sky rocket or a more competitive team to support on 23 Saturday's of the league season?

I know what i'd prefer.
