Surely you have to draw a line when you can’t field 11 players?? TBF 11 plus a full subs bench should be, at the very least, a bare minimum.

The final whistle went early aswell. A player supposedly faked an injury to end the game.

Northern bullyboys got away with murder. Purkiss in Kettle class, didnt have a clue as to what was going on.

I guess they keep it as 7-0 but

Benfica are top now but Sporting and Porto both have a game in hand, however Benfica's goal difference is now considerably better off. Makes a bit of a mockery of it all really.

Absolutely. Particularly if Belenenses go onto beat Sporting or Porto once their full squad returns.

I'm sure the rule is (or used to be at least) that you must have at least 8 players to start a game, and if that number drops to 7 the game is abandoned.

Didn't Colin w****r famously make use of the latter?

That’s fair enough in the Witney and District league when 3 players are resting a hangover. But not at the highest level in the middle of a pandemic.

Bloody fool, there are a lot of easier ways to pull a nurse, as you well know! As an old Scamps employee you must remember nurses night? Thursdays? All those footholds in the walls by the windows outside the nurse's home? Matron would come round and woe betide any man found in the dormitory's after hours! (not that I had any first hand experiences, of course!)

Anyway, plenty of rest, give up the ciggies, better diet and take care of yourself.
