He wouldn't sign a contract with them even though Wilder said it would have made him one of the top-earners at the club. Don't blame them

Most unnecessary post of all time 😂 but not unexpected from you.

Football is a different industry to most. Things are often played out in public. If you see a player want more money elsewhere despite being offered a very competitive contract of course fans arent going to like that. You want to think your players are desperate to pull on the shirt and you like to see some loyalty. There is very little loyalty in football these days, but it's still disappointing to see as a fan.

As it goes I feel I probably am overpaid for my job. I could look elsewhere for the sake of a few extra thousand a year but I like my team and the firm.
