Clare definitely has a role to play. A decent game in the middle against Ox City added to a good season with Burton in the middle shows what he could offer. That added to the obvious threat he offers as a wide player or even a striker (he was originally no.9 at Hearts) and you have yourself a very versatile option.

Worth keeping around at least for the first half of the season imo.

He's one of a number of players who may start this season more productively than last (Long, Agyei, Winnall).

Same here, then I saw we'd signed someone from Cheltenham, but it turns out she's a midfielder.

I heard he’s got a good drive on him but a club of a left foot he’s also quite prone to getting bogies also abit of a birdie watcher

So as it stands with a couple of weeks till Cambridge. Steve Seddon - hugely linked with on here. Gavin Whyte - in talks with us & other clubs. Very quiet bar them.

It's actually 19 days, so rather more than a couple of weeks. Why are you exaggerating?
 
Will we sign another player before the takeover is completed?

Seems similar to when Eales was taking over,at the time all we had signed was Hylton.
 
Not sure what the great panic is either. We operate is a league where lots of our opponents are very big clubs with big budgets. We won't get 1st pick, our div 1 success will depend on maximising our budget. Having said that, blackpool showed we need proper full backs, Grayson was signed in jan to cover that weakness, that failure left us exposed. Most of their goals came from the right back area.

Even a loan at the moment would be something, the lack of activity with such a thin squad is, to put it frankly, pathetic.

I am more and more convinced that our back line in 3 weeks will be Long, Mousinho, Moore, Forde.

Surely the board could see the problems that, that back line would be caused, especially with a lack of back up.
 
We will be doomed if we play Hanson and Forde at full back. Felt a bit sorry for them as they were midfield players trying to do their best playing out of position.

Quite simply whether he eventually comes or not, he's currently got covid so if he turns up at my door, I ain't answering.!!!!
