Any idea when (if at all) the announcement is likely to be made today? Got stuff to do, can't spend all day refreshing twitter!

Having visited Brentford's new stadium for a work thing, I was speaking to a chap from the company who were one of the contractors in building it and when mentioning I was an Oxford fan, they made a throwaway comment about there was a possibility of getting involved with OUFC in the coming months but didn't want to say any more.

All very exciting this morning with the promises of many lovely things to come. Just a shame I have a hellish work week this week and will be able to spend about 3 seconds enjoying the moment before having to dive back in to work.

At least we will have 4 stands when rangers come one will be a terrace 😁

Drove past all of the developments yesterday. Lovely ground, but more interesting to see what they’re doing to regenerate the surrounding area which was at best an absolute dump!

The ground is being surrounded by premium looking apartments, restaurants, bars etc from the ground to the river. It’ll be pretty good once finished. The total investment must be worth hundreds of millions. And the club will reap the benefits as it’s a great place to go and watch football.

Interesting benchmark (albeit a very different location) for what we might see here.

On a separate note the area surrounding Griffin Park has always been a complete dive. Not at least one of the famous four pubs has closed and the ground has started to be demolished.
 
It's 18:30 in Indonesia now, so Erick will be settling down in front of the Tele, in his slippers, eating his fish n chips, watching his favourite soap, so no news releases today I reckon.
