Financial Accounts upto 30 June 2017

I received a reply from Niall. I have to admit I'm disappointed; I didn't expect much and got even less. His reply basically said "thanks for your email. Thanks for your continued support". That's it. Didn't address the actual content of my email, didn't offer any kind of explanation or reassurance; just thanks for your continued support. If this was the men's team people would be, well, we know what would be happening.

I have to admit I feel let down, especially after Sarge was kind enough to ask a question regarding the women's team at the recent fans forum and Niall said the club is committed to the women's team. Well, if that was genuinely true, why were men's filed in a timely manner and not the women's? Where's the parity, the commitment? I just don't know how a professional football club can neglect to do something so basic yet so essential. It just gives me a poor impression of the clubs attitude towards the women's team unfortunately.

I also feel the club should have applied for the new league license at the first opportunity and our place would now be secure, rather than waiting and risking our place in the league. I'm aware the club adopted a 'wait and see' approach, but all the answers they could have needed were either in the 100+ page application, or just a phone call away. But let's put that aside for a moment because that's a matter of opinion and nothing can be done about it at this point. Plus I'm rambling a bit because I'm irritated.

I don't know if @OxVox can provide assistance of some kind? I don't know what I'm proposing exactly, it's an entirely new situation to me. A gentle nudge to get their act together, if nothing else, I suppose.

Sadly, emailing those at OUFC rarely gets an answer to the issue raised , which is why things such as fans forums, open meetings and the like are the best option for raising issues, invariably the local media (Rad Ox, Ox Mail) attend the meetings, which gives any issue raised a degree of publicity, instead of being ignored/ swept under the carpet as emailed questions certainly appear to continue to be.

I could be said IF the powers that be truly valued the opinions of the clubs( paying )supporters, emails would receive responses that at least adress issues raised... which, currently rarely if ever happens.

@Sandy was right to say, (on another thread), words to the effect of dont waste the clubs time with silly emails..... a spot on overview of the administrator's at OUFC perception and processing of Emails received from supporters, it certainly seems if supporters emails making enquiries are seen by the powers that be as 'silly' and appear to a waste of time for everyone, both those sending them and those receiving them. Customer services do seem to be lacking at OUFC when it comes to dealing with questions asked of the club via (pointless) emails:(

It just feels all very unfortunate and completely unnecessary, especially after the club invites communication and then doesn’t treat it accordingly. Like I said, I didn’t expect specifics, of course not, but it felt dismissive, almost to the point of being insulting. I doubt I’ll waste my time in the future. Hey-ho.

Of course the bigger issue at the moment (to me at least) is the issue I raised. Hopefully Niall followed up internally, if nothing else.

What does this mean? I noticed it on the Company House website. Says the document(s) will be available within 5 days (from April 9) but just wondered if anyone knows.
  • Resolution of allotment of securities.
This will be the allocation of the newly issued shares to Tiger and Ensco.

Thats what the powers that be dont seem to grasp...why invite communication (via email) to then not take much if any notice of what is being asked/enquired about.

Like well-intentioned 'promotions', ( free tickets for schools, give away scarves/flags etc etc) is the invite for emails to the person on persons at OUFC concerned. The initiative of promotions and the invitation for emails are, of course, very welcome.... here's the thing, while promotions and invitations are welcomed, when they are actually put into practice, its all kind of half hearted....Customer service training would not go amiss at OUFC.... talking a good job, announcing good intentions, officially welcoming email communication from supporters is all so well and good....part two implementation of welcome promotions as intended, and properly responding to email communications is where the administrators at OUFC are (still) lacking ..... we can only hope things will change for the better...though holding breath in anticipation isn't the best of ideas on that

Just had notification of new docs for OUWFC, but haven't had a chance to look yet.
Ensco & Alycidon have also posted.

I feel/know/fear football clubs, players and managers, treat fans with quiet contempt. As Karren Brady states most clubs are in a monopoly position etc...thus dont give two f**ks. End of.

According to this, https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport...announce-unprecedented-annual-profit-13660009
Motherwell received a £750K sell on from our sale of Marvin Johnson to Middlesbrough. Which would tie in with a 25% sell on clause of the rumoured transfer fee of £3M. As for timings, we sold him in August 2017, so how much of that transfer was collected by the time of Tiger's takeover in Feb 2018? Also I wonder how sell-on clauses affect the Ensco loans. Say £3M is paid into the specified bank, but £750K has to be paid to Motherwell, and when?

..... A shareholders AGM (as promised by Tiger) in 2018, would've also presented OUFC accounts up until 2017 ( probably June? ) , doesnt look like, despite the Owner/ Chairman of OUFC promising/ agreeing there would be, that there will a shareholders AGM held in 2018 :(
