Chairman Takeover now Old Car Chat

Looking at the socials, it seems only Tiger is happy about today! That probably lends a bit of weight to the theory he stands to make a few more quid should we go up. Nothing from The Thohirs or Bakrie.

Well, as Wembley now looks a remote dream, I would hope that this injection of Indonesian cash comes sooner rather than later as we need to start team rebuilding after Friday.

I am not writing our chances off. An early goal on Friday, hold out till half-time, a second and then game on. It can be done. It's 3-0. We've been to Crewe and won, we score 3-4 goals on average a game since FEB, we went to Wembley and won 3-0. No one should write this group off.

However, I 100% agree. Get this ownership sorted, start paying off contracts and invest/recruit correctly because we're miles away from a promotion winning side.
 
Not sure why this lot want to get involved? 3rd division club that doesn't own its 3 sided ground? call me cynical bu can not see the point of pouring away £££

All these questions will be asked, but atleast we know they are not coming in to asset strip as we don't own f**k all except the players. Also these lot have been around for 3 years already but behind the scenes so it's not a new takeover.

The original poster i replied back to is a newbie so might not know or could be a fan of the town down the a420 that's forever in our shadow trying to wind us up. Either way they haven't read @Scotchegg hundreds of posts of inside knowledge 😜

But reading 100 of your posts is one of the punishments we use if people transgress, we can't use that as an introduction to the forum as well...

Play-offs are a lottery. Semantics Long-John.........we're miles off from a promotion winning side but somehow, like Wycombe, we could do it.

We are not miles off. Last season when the season finished we were in third and got to to the playoff final and just lost out. This year we finished 7th and are in the playoffs again. Two seasons in a row we have been in the mix for promotion. That is not miles off.

Our best starting 11 is not miles away st all. Problem is the lack of depth at the back cost us at the start of the season and we kept having to play players out of position.

To be fair since we've had a relatively settled team we must have been in the top 5 form teams since Christmas.
