If the games played, which isn't a given at the moment considering the amount of rain we are currently having. I don't think a draw would be a bad result. Considering how much actual game time the lads have had recently. If we do manage to gain all 3 points then i might start to believe that we can trouble the top sides later on in the season. All we can do is keep collecting points cut out the silly performances from earlier in the season and we will end up where we are meant to be. Top 6, maybe who knows. COYY

We have one of the best pitches in the league, the heavy rain has gone and apart from light snow showers on Saturday there’s not much more before we play. I’d very surprised to see this called off.
As for the doom mongers who think we’re destined only for mid table, just look at the form table for the last 10 games, we are a team in improving form, we have enough to win this game and continue that form.
2-1 Oxford.

I don't think you can predict where we'll finish with any confidence. More than ever so, the season has been stop-start and the active bits compressed for most teams, plus for us we have played the last half dozen games at least against weak or completely inept opponents.

I said weeks ago that we would be waiting till the Doncaster match to see how good the side really is and nothing's changed.

Should beat the Gas for once though. COYY!

If this we being played at the Memorial Ground it would be in serious doubt, but can't see there being an issue with Grenoble Road.
On form we should beat them, however they do seem to have a jinx over us. At least if they do win I won't need to listen to them singing "It's happened again" on my train journey back to the West Country

Only good thing to come out of this being behind closed doors is that we won't have to listen to their wurzel fans singing that dreadful Irene song. That has to be the worst song in football. What is it even about??? And it usually means they've just scored against us!!!

Stevens
Long Moore Atkinson Ruffels
Gorrin
Forde Mcguane
Henry Taylor Obita

A dog will FINALLY run onto the pitch, but it will have all been for nothing, as the game will have been cancelled

And Ruffels, whose eye was poked out by Robbo in the dressing room while he was demonstrating a left wing attack.

Can't be worse than Pugwash surely?!

Another one I hate! But Pugwash is played on the PA system after a goal (something that I also hate, as it's completely tinpot) but the Bristol Rovers fans actually CHOOSE to sing the Irene song!

Not sure which I hate the most? I'm so full of hate today!!!

Referee is David Rock, not sure if we have had him.
3-1 win V Rochdale in Nov, he was the referee

despite the home win , lets just say he was a 'typical' L1/L2 referee

Difficult to make any predictions as to where we will finish given the difference in the number of games that spreads throughout the league. We have played one more than Accrington and three less than Crewe for instance. Until the games are evened out (god knows when that will be) we will just have to rely on guess work. Or just accept that we are where we are.
