General Supporters guide to attending matches

2 metres in the open air is fine for "normal" interactions. However shouting or singing with a likely swirling wind could put a large number of people at risk.

So please wear a mask! There will be several thousand ready to take your place if you're not happy with this.

Shouldn't be a problem if spacing between allocated seats has been properly thought out.
You may not have seen the graphic from the early days of the virus showing someone sneezing in a supermarket; the spread was vast. The planned spacing will probably be okay if people wear masks.
400+ people are dying every day in the UK, it’s not time to totally relax the rules yet.

Cannot understand all the negativity regarding the published guide rules.
You will be the first 1000 to watch the team at home in 280 days.
There are very many who wish they were in your seats.
If you cannot comply to the clubs request, you shouldn’t attend and return the tickets.

The whole tone of the guide seems pretty unwelcoming, do the club really want to see us back?

And FFS what is the point of bag searches?!
Tbh I felt very lucky to have bagged a ticket for this Saturday's match (even after the Sw*ndon debacle) but after receiving my ticket today and reading the guidelines I now feel a little flat and for that I apologise to others who applied for a ticket and couldn't get one this time around. I know I'm a moaning Minnie Caldwell especially to my neighbour's in the street where I live. For the realism I live next door to Ken. However, I knew there were going to be some similar rules to how we do things today but the one rule which has tipped me into questioning whether to bother again in the one to two thousand future was the request where you must keep your back towards people when passing them in your seat row to save any face to face contact. This practise could be a particularly dangerous feat for anyone who is less agile and this includes geezers like me with scandalous troublesome knees facing the pitch with shins pressed against the back of the seats...any slight wobble from me and I'll be brown bread especially if my in front seat is positioned near the front of the south stand upper. Personally I prefer the close face to face contact lol with someone as gorgeous as me but if I did this back to the wall malarkey in my local supermarket with everybody else also doing this by getting too close to each other it would be like the reenactment of famous tea time bbc programme the magic roundabout...absurdly barmy. Talk about the ministry of silly walks - this probably will see plenty of vids being sent to you've been framed with me being the first to go over. Man overboard!

COYY'S

Surely because people will sing and shout, regardless of what they are asked to do. I don’t want someone spraying their spit all over me from the seats behind me!
But looking at the seating plan for the available tickets for the Hull game, if you were singing and spit was emitted whilst doing so it would have only affected your bubble

From watching the Quest program tonight, Luton seem to have a very bizarre seating layout for their 1,000 fans.

With needing to wear glasses and a mask while I am sat down I will probably need to rewatch the match when I get home to see what actually happened in the game.

The mask while sat down seems a bit excessive, that’s not a government rule.
dip your glasses in a bowl of water with a little washing up liquid in, then shake/let dry naturally (don't rub) will stop steam up.

Alternatively, invest in a pair of opera glasses. PM me, you can borrow mine :)

So got me a ticket for Northampton. Anyone know if that’s the only game we’ll get in the three match ballot. I.E. anyone receive an email with more than just Northampton tickets????

So, anyone that applied and hasn't yet got a Northampton ticket can book in for Boxing Day.

If you applied and don't have a ticket for Northampton you'll either get Boxing Day, Doncaster or both but I don't think we will know until nearer the time

No the 3 game block to apply for needed at 12pm and only 60% of ST memebers applied, I got the Northampton game now whether the club have just allocated the tickets for that game as it’s next Tuesday and the Dons game and the Donny game will be allocated next week to give the club more time.
