I was thinking the same. They might not have their first team out but the longer it stays 0-0, the more I worry.

We were looking to get a response and I think you can say we just about did. The better team and a couple of good chances created. That said, it’s still 0-0 and I can see us conceding a sucker punch at some point.

McGuane is becoming indispensable imo. Showing what a player he is with some recent performances. A midfield of him with a fully fit CB and AG would be superb at this level.

McGuane has worked very hard and been impressive again.

Shodipo has been ok to be fair to him.

Henry just doesn’t offer anything out wide when he’s like this. Yes he hit the post with a header and he can pop up with a goal but he doesn’t run at defences or swing crosses in. He just sits there on the right, not doing much, not seeing much of the ball. I’d like to see what Clare can offer.

We’ve looked very toothless up front overall, but an ok half. Apart from that crazy 45 minutes against Swindon we’ve been like this for the last couple of games: Decent enough without ever looking like we will score 3-4 goals or anything, and always with an error in us.
