If Tiger thought kR was the problem he would sack him.

I find it wryly amusing that some here think the January ‘window’ will be KR’s saviour. Since when has he made season-defining incoming transfers in mid-season? What we have now is what we will be relegated with; it is too late to rectify the earlier mistakes (Hanson, Hall, Clare, Eastwood etc etc etc).

In what way was Eastwood a mistake? Because of rumors he wanted away?

He's made some poor signings for sure, but there are some impressive players still out there. Ben Heneghan would have been the answer to our defensive howlers, yet slipped passed KR's radar

He did ok in the last Jan window and tbh that was his best so far, but that’s it.

It is too late for KR to rectify the earlier mistake of retaining Eastwood as the #1 when it was clear at the start of the season that he is clearly way past his best, mistake-prone and lacking in confidence.

I agree his form does not seem good, but you mean while the transfer window was still open replace him? Was it that obvious?

Robbo doesn't have an easy ride here , trying to build a team and losing the likes of , Whyte , Fosu, Baptist , Dickie.. add successful loans like Cadden and Browne and all of that in 12 months......throw in Cam Bran illness, Henrys complete loss of form , that is a hell of a rebuilding job...yes recruitment has not proved to be successful yet but some promise and Robbo has made some poor decisions....overall though stay up , build a solid base to go for it next season .

Agreed
As I said in an earlier post oxfords policy on transfers is risky and calculated certainly not safe. But it has been more entertaining than most of the last 20 years.

So if you don't get promoted to the championship you judge that as not successful?
If you get promoted to the Championship off course that would be successful, we at Oxford haven’t been successful since we were promoted to L1. We have been told things about who we are getting what positions we are looking to recruit and a majority don’t materialise and you don’t replace with what you’ve lost, so no we haven’t been successful.

I think that unless / until the ground situation is sorted out being a decent to very good league 1 side is not actually to bad ......look where we were only a few years ago ...

And that’s the problem, how can you build a solid base with what we’ve got especially with a majority of our performances so far this season. Every time we seem to be showing promise then we lose it during the January transfer window and early into the summer transfer Window and we have to start all over again, it’s just so repetitive.

I agree but the ground is the issue, I know there is a pandemic at the moment and that maybe a blessing in disguise for NMW after what he said earlier this year.
