Transfer News Transfer window 2020/21

KR on the latest ifollow interviewed said that there will be a lot change (presume squad turnover) in January and our aim is to be competitive and up the right end of the table for when the turn of the year comes. Names who we think will be out the door, either permanently or on loan?
I think we have to be quick of the mark & do our business early January again like last year,

Priority got to be centre back (If we’re still interested in Ben Heneghan I see no reason to get him in the building doing training & playing friendlies ready for signing on January 1st) or have a realistic target to get in straight away instead of waiting to see if a current players comes available then we get to January 31st again but still don’t get them we’ve waited enough in the past & failed (Right Back last January & Browne all this summer)

Also it’s time to get rid of the dead wood out of the 22 man squad (Robbie Hall Jamie Hanson even John Mousinho if he gets another long term injury then he needs to retire) even possibly letting Kelly & McGuane go back if the don’t start producing performances from now till January even Ageyi if he’s not getting KR plans I’d have no issue seeing go out on loan if we got a decent replacement in return like Gavin Whyte that would be an upgrade imo

Been here before, in fact most transfer windows. We’ll get it done on 31st January, thus meaning we’ve lost the whole of January.

Not overly bothered either way as not a lot seems to change from one season to another.

Any news re; Stadium?!!!!!!!

What a load of shite!! Maybe look at the way Agyei trains, or how he takes instructions on as to why he's not getting opportunities.

There is a player there, and we've seen glimpses of what he can do. But if Agyei wants to succeed then he has to work harder, compete at both ends of the pitch and make himself the first name on the team sheet.

There’s plenty of players who’ve played far worse than Agyei and yet don’t get singled out for criticism by Robinson like he does. There’s also plenty of players who’ve played more than he has despite having worst performances.

I agree though, we don’t see him in training so he may be generally poor/lazy etc behind the scenes. But it is strange how Robinson has spoken more critically in the media of Agyei than he has any single other player, since Dan joined the club. And that’s just a fact, sorry.

I sat near the dug out for a game last season (my daughter likes to pick up new swear words from KR!!!) Agyei was getting prep'd to go on and you could hear Robinson bigging him up, telling him that he had the beating of the back 4, telling him to run into the space behind the full backs, or on the shoulder of the last man etc. Agyei came on and dawdled around the centre circle or made some half arsed runs. You could see how frustrated the bench were with him, but Robinson called him back over and gave him loads more encouragement.

Unfortunately this appears to be a regular thing in training where he doesn't take instruction and doesn't push himself. It's a shame because he has all the makings of a very good player, but he has to show it on and off the pitch.

I honestly don't think there are personal issues between him and the coaching team, but you can see the frustration when he doesn't do as coached.

Aygei maybe if he doesn't respond the way KR hopes? Loan option?
Hanson? Just to get him off the books?
McGuane? Sent back to Forest?
Nico Jones? Loan to Conference?

Just some people i can think of

Nico Jones is irrelevant with his age to the squad. But Hall, Kelly (if he can be sent back), Hanson and Agyei (depending on who comes in) are possibles. Mous if he is going to retire in the summer and can be persuaded to join the coaching set up is another possibility.

Really?

Agyei has been our best player in at least two games this season, but still gets dropped and mostly only spoken of in a negative way by KR.

Agyei hasn’t been the flavour of the past 18 months.

He doesn't seem to have been given a fair run of games.
Other names: Napa to Woking perm, seems to have found his level there.
Kelly loan terminated

kr has tried to get Jones a loan move to the conference, but no takers, mentioned in an interview a few weeks back, when he was getting the other loans sorted out. Maybe Oxford City will take him. There always seems to be the baggage of his attitude maybe that hinders him a bit.

He’s literally just dropped him from the squad. Despite being one of our best players so far this season. While Eastwood, Ruffels, McGuane, Kelly and Clare have had nothing but support despite playing much worse.
He's dropped him because of his attitude and not giving everything in training.

It's an easy stick to beat Robinson with! Remember when we were being told that he hated Henry and didn't want him because he wasn't his signing? That's why he's only picked him in 100 odd games!
If Robbo doesn’t like Agyei he should sell and get rid but personally I think that would be a big mistake.
