WOW or WOE !!

Oh God. Don't bother, nerps! You didn't even say anything. You asked a question. But so fragile and frazzled is the temperament of the 2018 supporter that rational discourse is a subject for existential angst. After 2 years of Stockholm Syndrome, their minds simply cannot compute debate.
In answer to your question: our players generally have more footballing ability than those of other relegation-threatened teams. However, it is an unbalanced squad lacking in 'dig' and power. And has an unhealthy number of players who know they will not be here next season. It also is poorly coached and has no discernible pattern of play.
However. As we saw with Peterborough away, football is a strange game. Our players are not empirically worse than theirs. It would not surprise me greatly if we won. And that would probably lend us the confidence to get over the line, with the added lift of a new manager.
Indeed, as you say, the 2018 Supporter's temperament is fragile and frazzled. None more so than your good self as evidenced by your succession of bitter and accusative posts. I think we could all do with a rest from the world according to Charles Methven.

Do not presume to speak for 'all' posters. Just speak for yourself - and I shall counter that I am fed to the back teeth of moonshiners like you pretending that all is ok when it is not.
Yes, I am bitter that after a decade or more of good, structured, dedicated hard work by so many people that the club I love has been brought low again.
And yes, I am accusatory because there was absolutely no need for this shambles. There were, to my certain knowledge, two highly respectable, wealthy people surrounded by people with expert knowledge (no, not me) who wanted to buy the club. Buy it at the correct market price, invest heavily in it and take the project very seriously for the next five years or more.
And instead, this is where we are. Managerless, disastrous stadium situation, club loaded up with hard debt, bills not being paid, losing 150k a month and a new owner who is hardly ever here and has no declared plan or management structure.
You will note that I do not even include the current on-pitch performance, as I am hoping we can at least turn that around today.
Like illnesses and injuries, business weakness does not improve for being ignored. It gets worse, becomes endemic And, in the end, infects all areas. So I am firmly of the belief that those of us who really care - and have shaken the buckets before, to pay the wages of Mick, Chris and co - should shout loudly and clearly until and unless the correct steps are being taken to remedy. If we have to take flak from flat earthers and lackeys along the way then so be it. I have long wished that I had kicked up an even bigger fuss when Kassam took over and was going about his epochal business. Being shouted down as a racist then by the same type of ostriches and kiss-asses may have had some effect, even on me! 20 years on, I am thicker-skinned. So until the administrators agree with you and ban me then you will have to ignore it or lump it.

Just to be quite clear, by two wealthy people looking to buy the club, I mean two separate parties. One (Sartori/Donald) in May and another (previously owner of a successful Spanish second tier club) in November.
Both had 15 to 20 million to invest and were surrounded by experienced management teams. The latter I only met because one of his team found me and wanted to ask questions about the Licence deal with Firoz. Very thorough; they knew exactly what they were doing.

Whilst our new owner travels around Business Class Airport lounges looking for a manager - (why isn't he here for God's sake - first home match for him to take adulation from the crowd?) poor old Faz has to try & motivate players who must be wondering WTF is going on. Wonder what the mood will be like at 5.00pm?

It’ll be interesting to see if they pop up at another English club in the near future and then see how they fare. I do share some of your concerns and agree you do make some salient points that need addressing. I think it’s fair to say Tiger is at a pivotal point already. There’s no hiding from the fact that the next week is huge. That said there are small signs that he does have a plan but he does need to show he’s the real deal very soon. I’m very disappointed that he’s not in attendance today, not a great sign.

What signs have there been of a plan, yellowbow?
Saying that you plan to improve marketing is no more than housekeeping. It is not a 'plan'

Eales said he would sell in the best interests of the club. From what you have said ,and I believe you,is that two interested parties were willing to put up to 20. million into the club. What we don't know at this stage is whether the new owners are prepared to put the same amount in. If they do fine and I hope we go places.

If the new owners don't have that money then Eales will have gone against his word and done the club a disservice in HIS own interests.

I suppose only time will tell.

For what it's worth I was really exited when we heard about Sartori and I was disappointed when that deal fell through.I have a gut feeling that the new owners don't have the sort of money we would have got,and the Reading fans see Tiger and co.as chancers.

Does anyone know how much Tiger and co. have said they will invest?

what I dont understand is why eales would turn down that bid

We all do desperately need three points.

But if you think that that will 'stop all this madness ' then I cannot agree with you.
The madness on this Board is pretty minimal. At other clubs, with more passionate fans (cf west ham), things would be taken a lot further were they to see their club lose 7 out of 8 games, be managerless for two months, run by a part-time schoolmaster, loaded up with debt to the outgoing owner and taken to court by HMRC. All this after a 40 per cent price increase.
Three points is urgently needed, but it does not solve all our problems. We are in a hell of a state.
How dare you say whu fans are more passionate. Masses of passion on show today.

Plenty of people are supportive of the club and you do a disservice to their efforts, do you think you were the only shaking buckets, do you think you are the only one that cares for this club, well I think you will find your posts paint a different picture than your own self portrayal, your constant criticism and belittling of the club and it’s fans actually comes across as negative than supportive of the club and you do not come across on this forum as the only saviour of the club.
I wonder what the good people of the club think of you?
