Am I right in thinking that as I write we have a squad submitted to the league of one less than the cap to allow for a free agent to come in? And the player left out for that to happen is DOY? Not sure if my understanding is correct so please could someone confirm? Hopefully if so, DOY can get a loan at a decent conference side where he can get to grips with the physical side of the game, much like Napa and Spasov are doing at Woking and seem to be progressing well.

It's very much an eye condition. Saw several people suffering it in my ophthalmology attachments as an undergrad.

Yes, your thinking is correct. I'm sure the club are trying to line up a loan deal for Delboy as soon as feasible. KR said that, even if loaned out, Delboy could still play in cup games.

Thanks both @andystroud @Sarge I really like the look of Del from what I’ve seen and seems to have a good attitude. Maybe seen as a bit raw and a bit naive for now by KR? Any rumours as to who the free agent could be?

With the squad size only having one player over 21 left, what happens January if we have a full squad? I think we will be signing Browne in 8 weeks so can see us waiting till then

Think you have to re-submit a squad of 22 after the January window to allow for any transfers in/out during that time.

The bigger issue is next season when the squad size permitted decreases once again.

I do wonder if the squad size limit will be got rid of but not the salary cap. It wouldn't surprise me at all as I think the PFA will start getting noisy about it behind the scenes and along with a number of clubs.

I’d guess that Cam will be very much pill popping and shielding due to what I’ll imagine is a very weak immune system following on from it all.

Would imagine showing very slow signs of improvement following it all.

So good news for him and his family.

Not the best news obviously for the playing side but that’s completely irrelevant at the stage.

On paper yes, he has had two horrific knee injuries that have both ruled him out for 9-12 months. Very similar to Ribiero injures
