:Very early on Saturday morning according to the Crewe manager, 7:40 am..
Certainly time enough for the match to be postponed without going to the ground.

He sounds gutted that we'd already found out that they had had a positive result.

Oh look. He says in his interview that Oxford already knew about it when they got there. Whether EVERYBODY at Oxford knew is different - Karl Robinson certainly seems to have not been told judging from the sincerity of his reaction. But people related to OUFC had clearly had whispers. As had many others.

Still, it’s good that some sad act with a grudge on a forum took the opportunity last night to accuse others of withholding this information and potentially making people sick. Because obviously that’s completely normal behaviour.

One of the those Crewe fans who responded to your post on another forum, wrote this about it and clearly doesn't get it:

"Besides, only around 500 people under the age of 35 with no underlying health conditions have died from this disease. Get a grip."
You cannot make this s**t up! Unbelievable attitude to have

Slightly off topic it's quite difficult to know the safest method for the positive player to get home?
Would a taxi driver assist?
Family member pick him up?

I highly doubt the FL will do anything, we have played 9 less games than we had at this time last season, if a lot of games get called off then you have to wonder if it will be possible to finish this season without flogging the players to death.

Wondering that myself. Going by their actions to date, he probably went back on the team bus.

Well ideally they would be self isolating at home in the first place!

This is what I eluded to earlier but some on here seem to still see this as an opportunity to poke another stick at the government about lack of testing capacity.

This guy Beckles decided to get a test off of his own back, did so with no issue it seems and the result came through Saturday... How is that a sign that the testing situation failed to deliver in this circumstance?

If that's aimed at me then I've already stated there's no indication that this a specific failure in testing capacity.

My gripe was that testing should be available freely to those who are known to have come into contact with someone who has COVID. 'Test, test, test' and all that. I appreciate that this is the wrong thread for sharing that thought and won't comment further here.

At the risk of repeating myself, none of the above excuses the actions of CAFC.
