Crewe-less idiots! It seems bizarre that Crewe wanted to play knowing They had a positive player.

We don’t know his son’s symptoms, he paid for the test himself because he just wanted to double check.
Do you really think that everyone plus everyone who lives in the same household who might have a cold (not Covid symptoms) would self isolate or even take a test?
It seems reckless that Crewe wanted to play knowing They had a positive player.
Perhaps some didn't!It seems bizarre that Crewe wanted to play knowing They had a positive player.
Well that’s the problem it can incubate for 14 days so if your self isolating because you are a contact but have no symptons And have a negative test you still have to isolate for 14 days. No point in a test unless you have symptons.EFL Trophy game on Tuesday has to be in doubt doesn't it.
How long does it take for the virus to show up on a test?
Surely that’s not an excuse, there must have been at least 25 people on the team bus, all now who have to self isolate.Perhaps some didn't!
This is why I’m kind of reluctant to totally condemn Crewe for this whole incident until we know the full facts. There must be more to it. There’s surely more to it than they knew they had a COVID positive player, didn’t care and wanted to play on anyway, right? Like, they haven’t been living under a rock for the last 9 months, there’s surely no way they would have been that reckless / dismissive of the dangers of the virus? It seems bizarre that Crewe wanted to play knowing They had a positive player.
Can be useful if you have positive result?Well that’s the problem it can incubate for 14 days so if your self isolating because you are a contact but have no symptons And have a negative test you still have to isolate for 14 days. No point in a test unless you have symptons.
Ryan Wintle ordered a coronavirus test, in the anticipation that he might have coronavirus.
He needs to isolate until the result is known, regardless of symptoms.
That is absolutely black and white.
listen to KRs interview, Crewe were that recklessThis is why I’m kind of reluctant to totally condemn Crewe for this whole incident until we know the full facts. There must be more to it. Players should demand he go's separatelyAnd I’d love to know how the positive player gets home! Team bus anyone?
He ordered a coronavirus test because his son was unwell (we’re not sure of his son’s symptoms) and was worried, rightly so, probably because another Crewe player was unwell earlier in the week (game against Newcastle, not sure if he had a test and if so, whether it was positive or not), so not in anticipation that he (player) had coronavirus, but I agree with you, he (player) should have self isolated once he’d taken the test and until he knew the results of the test, not travelled/informed his club etc as he had increased the risk of transmitting the virus further.
Where would this have left today’s fixture though?
If a member of your household has symptoms are you not supposed to self-isolate??
BT Sport suggesting we could be in trouble for pulling out of the game, if that happens the EFL is broken.
As Crewe didn't want a blanket test I wonder when Crewe knew he had taken a private onePlausibly still played if Wintle had announced he had been tested and isolated himself per obligations, and Crewe still had enough players who had not been in contact with Wintle. Plausibly still postponed if he did not / they did not, but without the need for deep cleaning another team's ground, and without the need to require two whole squads to test, had it been correctly managed on day dot.
(Once again, his son's symptoms are an absolute irrelevance, Wintle ordered a test and must be bound by the responsibilities that entails).
