Anybody, ANYBODY that thinks that Henry isn’t in our best side as it stands today is deluded. The guy is pure class, he’s played most of his career at a higher level and continues to be pure class (look at his chances created last season).

For those of you that doubt him, give your head a good wobble. Jesus Christ!
Couldn’t agree more. COYY

I’m not James...?
I take it all back. I'm a massive fan, James. One question though, why did you square it? ?

All joking aside, I think I was overly critical about his/your performances. Like a few have said, he has been carrying a knock during pre-season and no doubt he will start tomorrow.

I fully expect him to turn it on again tomorrow, when the time comes!

On his day he delivers great service in terms of crosses and passes but, he does have a tendency to go off the boil and even make some errors so, I can understand some having some doubts. However, when he's firing on all cylinders, he is just the player that is needed to provide and, when given the opportunity, to score. For some strange reason he does take a couple of games, maybe three, to get back into his usual free flowing and incisive form.
To drop Henry would be a risk, start with him and then see where we are, it might be the player who gives us an edge.

I’ve always thought that the reason it’s easy to dismiss Henry is because he isn’t the kind of winger that thrills you by dribbling past two defenders or burns a back line with sheer pace. He often can be quite ponderous and slows down attacks, and his little touches don’t always come off. BUT it’s worth having him on the pitch for that one moment of quality a game - that one cross, shot, or clever through ball - that can be the difference between a loss and a draw, or a draw and a win. He isn’t as likely to get you out your seat as a Gavin Whyte at full pelt; but, over the course of a season, their relative assists and goals don’t lie.

Anyway moving on from James/EC. Because we've kind of known about it for a while I think it's taken away from what a fantastic signing Sam Winnall is, a proper proper goalscorer with a real physical presence. He will not want to be playing second fiddle to Tayls either which will give them both a rocket up their ass and hopefully that rocket takes us to the Championship! Get a Whyte/Browne/Holland type player in on loan and we have one of the best squad we've had in decades.

Noway that Mendez Laing F me sideways. My wife's aunt was banging him last season. Just found out.

Osei scores a few tap ins and people genuinely think he's a better RW option than Henry

Not saying he should start ahead of Henry, but calling his goals just tap ins is doing the lad a bit of disservice. Debate the point, but be honest about it.
