I would consider playing Mousinho as the CDM as so much of the game revolves around an initial long ball need to also press high to stop their defenders getting their heads up. Apart from that the big pitch should allow for us to dominate possession and take their legs away. Going for us to win it in the last 20 with a Dan Aygei break
Oh dear
Big pitch not the quickest = bench
Plus be positive. Go to win from the start

Go in 3:0 up at half time then release the Mackie to do his worst. Lol wishful thinking I know.

Maybe we are the away team because we (cough!) finished below them in the table? This would be in line with the principle that that in the semi finals the highest placed team is given the slight advantage by playing their home game last.

I thought we'd be the home team as Wembley feels more like home to us that it will to Wycombe ?

I read somewhere that they were going in 2 coaches - why would they need to travel alone in their cars if they’ve all tested negative?

Radio Oxfod reported that they are staying in a hotel together before the game but have turned down the chance of pre match look around the stadium for reasons not stated.

KR interview on Radox (around 8.20 this morning) was very good. Referring to the penalties he talked about not allowing excitement, nerves etc to affect technique. To me this if key for us on Monday. We have to deal well with the occasion and allow the talents we've shown this season to flow.
They will come at us at 100 miles an hour in first 15. Try and physically hurt us in hope ref wont send anyone off early and hope to get a reaction/red card for retaliation. We need to soak it up and stay disciplined and will have too much. Will this be the day Ainsworth dyes his hair purple, puts on some mascara and finally wears a dress?

Genuine question. "Nice expansive pitch"?
I think there's an assumption that because Wembley stadium is huge so is the pitch. I vaguely remember something from a few years back that our pitch and Wembley are about the same size. Which could still be expansive!

PS I bet Karl has had the training pitch marked out to Wembley sized proportions this week.
That was the Manor?

They have mainly 3 ways of scoring - long ball flick on, set piece or FO on the wing creating some magic. Mousinho in CDM reduces the risk or two of them (IMO) Sykes at right wing the third. It doesn’t particularly affect our attacking game so doesn’t stop us being positive going forwards. Anyway probably won’t happen and will be the same team that started the second leg

KR will have the possibility of penalties on his mind and that will affect team selection. He'll want Mous on the pitch at 120 minutes if it comes to that. Hope it doesn't though!

I think that's unfair on Gorrin who coped very well with a lot of direct balls through from Pompey. The only one he missed did lead to the goal in the second leg, but I also think that Dickie and Moore were too far apart which gave them chance to pick up the second ball, turn and get a shot away before either could close down properly.

Mous offers experience and composure, but his mobility in a key central midfield role will be limited. Gorrin reads the game very well and controls the middle of the pitch often unnoticed. He can also go toe to toe with anyone up for a fight, which will be just as important against Wycombe.

Interesting.
It is because it kind of breaks the perception of how a lot of fans see Mackie's effectiveness (or the lack thereof). If you think about the goals Taylor scores, then I guess Mackie's lack of goals doesn't badly affect the teams effectiveness as much as the critics would tell us.

I would prefer Taylor to start on Monday, but if he's got 60 minutes in him, then a similar arrangement to last Monday is probably the most efficient way.

Just found a venue in Dawlish that’s showing the game Monday night. Happy days COYY
