Listening to what I presume is BBC Radio Portsmouth I think we got away with one tonight. They were bigger and stronger than us and evenly-matched skillwise. They hit the post and had three fairish penalty shouts. But we got the draw. Their fans seem to think that this was their chance and they didn't take it and that we will win the second leg. Excellent.

P**s poor.

We didn't start to play until half hr in. We seemed wholly passive in the middle third of the pitch allowing Pompey to recycle position and crack on in to dangerous areas. When they scored (Long didn't move his feet neither did Clint) we got mildly offended and responded with a goal from Browne that looked like the kind of goal you score down the field when your buddies get tired of closing you down. Keeper didn't move his feet.

2nd half was lacking conviction from both sides, I would expect both OUFC and Pompey to be a million times better on Monday...but the crux of it is - what a wonderful opportunity to play Wycombe at Wembley for championship football!!!

Even match that. We only really played well in the last 20 of the 1st half. Eastwood should never have beaten at the near post . Schoolboy error. Ref annoyed me at end of the first half. He let pompey have 3 or 4 shots after he should have blowed his whistle for HT then blowed when we had a 2 on 1 breakaway. Brannagans booking was a joke as well when the pompey player fell over the other one. Henry needs to step up for the 2nd leg. Typically when he plays well the team does.

My bro said to me tonight (and it was the f*****g highlight of a mediocre evening) Ainsworth = "A f*****g tragic specimen of a man who looks like he should be in a Darkness covers band..."

The Sky TV commentators served up a few pearls of wisdom during the game, the best of which was saying that Jim Smith was the manager of Oxford when they won the League Cup. After the game someone mispronounced The Kassam Stadium as The Chasm Stadium which, when you think about it is quite appropriate.

The problem with sky is they also know f**k all about us apparently Jim smith won the league cup with us why do they try and pretend to know stuff why not just keep it simple ?

I thought the best one was saying our fitness coach had just been brought in specifically for set pieces and he'd been told that by KR. If KR said that then he was taking the pee out of him.

I think the commentator mentioned Craig Short, former defender and Chrises brother

My fav was MK Ron’s.....

Solid. Grew into the game and thought we looked the better team for long periods. Long looked very vulnerable against their one threatening attacking outlet - a bit of a concern. I would back us in the second leg, although would be very concerned if CB is out. As has been pointed out, Woodburn didn't look nearly up to the pace of the game. Expected Agyei to come on and make hay against an opposition leaving that much space, but I think he only had a solitary touch of the ball.

Great result that though.

Overall very disappointed in Long, we need to replace as we have seen in previous matches can produce costly mistakes.

We showed glimpses of incisive attacking play pity Shandon is not still here. Didnt like Mackie coming on before Agyei there was one Browne break where it was crying out for a forward in the box and there was noone there just feel that agyei would have been there. Still reasonably confident about monday.
