I’ve moved on! We finished third, that’s great. Shame we didn’t go up but hey ho
Can you imagine the Liverpool fans [emoji23][emoji23]
Just to think of the amount of Legal challenges there would beThe solution is happening from the bottom of the pyramid upwards.
National League next, then us in the EFL.
The longer we have to wait the more realistic it is that this season is binned.
Of course the PL want to finish at all costs........because its about ££££`s.
Many folk are fast learning that ££££`s isn`t that important and how they behave towards others in this crisis is more important. Some are definitely not covering themselves in glory and might well pay a hefty price when this is all settled.

wont stop em trying thoughAll null and void, National/Global emergency supersedes any money grabbing parasitic lawyers.
Yup; think you’re right.Three Brighton players have just tested positive today. Players are still catching it now and will continue for weeks and weeks yet. Minimum.
There is no way this season will continue even behind closed doors for many months to come. Once the tipping point arrives x amount of months down the line and it’s suddenly a straight choice between the 9 or 10 remaining games of this season or the 40+ of a new one, there will only be one winner. After many months of no income, no club at any level can afford to sack off an entire season to finish the last chunk of another. Integrity of the sport will rightly finish second to survival of the game.
But TBH to say they will likely lose at Coventry is pie in the sky, the current form table means nothing now. This will be like starting a new seasonAnd their game in hand is Coventry (a) that they'd likely lose.
it seems clear that the decision made further down the pyramid is the belief that those clubs cannot afford lawyers etc...if it happens in our league let's hope the clubs and Agents have not already spent any monies received for transfers. Still we're all in this together yeah right !!!
It should do but there will be some sort of challenge you can guarantee it, just glad fatty evens wouldn’t be in a position to mount a legal challenge as we wouldn’t hear the end of it.All null and void, National/Global emergency supersedes any money grabbing parasitic lawyers.
They already made the FA Cup a two tier competition when they let VAR be used in games at PL grounds, rather than saying it couldn’t be used so that the rules were the same in every fixture.Football sickens me with it's elitist attitude, don't tell me the F.A cares about the game, you cannot make up rules as you go along it should and must be the same for everyone.
The whole game stinks to the core and has been shown up for what it is all about ££££££££
Noone's suggesting that, are they? They already made the FA Cup a two tier competition when they let VAR be used in games at PL grounds, rather than saying it couldn’t be used so that the rules were the same in every fixture.
It’s all good and well the top dogs saying the season must be finished, but when those of us lower down get to finally restart games and have to sacrifice a 46 game season to finish one with 9 or 10 left, we go to the wall.
Maybe that’s the attraction of it. Kill off us plebs, keep the biggest clubs in two divisions and have Premier League 1 and 2. Delicious.
Yet. The longer this suspension goes on, the less it will be possible to hold another 46 game season within the necessary timeframes if the authorities become obsessed with finishing the current one. Especially with a second wave of lockdowns later this year quite likely, due to the lack of vaccine until at least next summer. We won’t be coming out of our houses in a month or two and suddenly the world is back to normal - there will almost certainly be another multi-month disruption to our way of life during what would be next season. That should be considered very carefully by the authorities, and they need to map out how next season could be completed in the event of a second wave. For example, if this season were called as is, could next season potentially be completed even with several months of disruption if it were to run from July - September and then March - June, if the worst were to occur? If they were to chase this current campaign down a blind alley, what does that do to the next season’s schedule? What if they take until August to finish the last nine or so games of this season, and then the second wave comes in September when the next one is gearing up to start, which in turn stops the game and carries on into 2021? Do they have a route plotted out for how that would work and ensure a full season could take place within the necessary parameters? If they just blindly chase finishing this season down the rabbit hole at absolutely any cost then it’s got massive potential to go wrong, and we certainly will end up in a situation where we’re staring down the barrel of losing more fixtures than we obsessively made room for. Which for the majority of clubs outside the Premier League would be a travesty.Noone's suggesting that, are they?
