Do well not to take mid table 'Stanley too lightly, especially with 3 first team squad players 'doubtful' ( OM link below) ...yet again the timing of the board's decision to cash in on Fosu & Baptiste, when the squad was /still is at best stretched, comes into question (IMO)...

It will be a hard game because we know they will work their knackers and be very organised on the counter to catch us our. I highly doubt they will turn up and do a AFC Wimbledon for us.

Should never underestimate “plucky little Accrington” but if we play as well as we know we can it should be routine.
is Billy Kee out injured? I hope so as he’s always been a pain in the a**e.

He retired earlier this season. Story below

Billy Kee has retired from full time football due to health issues (not sure if mental health or physical) and is now playing part-time in the regional leagues up north.

Don't really agree with that. I think we have adequate cover for this. Forde is only just back from injury and just sounds like he's tired. Sykes has the shits and Holland has cramp. All may well only miss one game. KR may well have shuffled the pack a bit over the next two games anyway.

fair enough .... & fair assessment too @GRB

These were pretty solid away from home earlier this season. Need to be clever to get something but if the weather's right we should be ok for some points.

Head coach Karl Robinson said: "Sykesy is ill, he’s vomiting as we speak.”

Never has the phrase “too much information” meant so little to an individual.

Could have been worse. He could have said "Sykesy is currently pebble dashing the bog in trap 4. I really feel for our cleaner, Beryl."

Going that far, he could have at least added in the diced carrot context for seriousness of illness.

Atkinson recalled and on the bench as cover for tomorrow night?

presume with Forde 'out' Sam Long will be at RB , and therell be no defensive cover on the bench , should the unthinkable happen ??

I suspect we'll drop points in this block of 5 either here or at shrewsbury in a couple of weeks time. Would prefer we drop the away points as I'd like to see us re-build our head of steam at home from earlier in the year, but suspect tomorrow will be a frustrating draw. Those are three frustrating injuries to have, gives us basically no options or creativity on the bench.
