Music Oxford have run out to

More like Busted - Year 3000 (and you can take both the group name and the song title as being apposite!).

Surely our MD would prefer McBusted. Mackie is slightly more alternative and prefers the solo stuff by Fightstar.

Coldplay - Yellow.
Apparently one of the reasons we were so bad that year we were relegated from League 1/Divison 2/3rd tier. Another was that murky domino kit. Nothing to do with Kemp of course.
Just the mention of Kemp , makes me mad... The must single worse so called manager ?

I’m sure when we played the scum at home in our seven in a row series we came out to Kashmir by Led Zep

Or am I dreaming this?

Under Kemp we should have come out to circus music

And is, in my humble opinion, awful.
Indeed. I did do a bit of Googling to see if I could find a better version to suggest to the club, but oddly enough it is not the most widely covered Beatles song! I quite like the idea of using it as the run on music (as it is at least unique to us), but don't think this version works well and am not convinced Ringo's caterwauling would be much better... Could a local band be persuaded to knock up a version?

Thanks everyone for your info, reminisces and opinions. It's interesting and invaluable in terms of this project.

We’re trying to build a mini timeline of the tracks played at Oxford, and this is what we’ve got so far.. If there's anything anyone agrees with, or disagrees with, or if you can remember anything, give us a shout. Cheers

Perkle ....youve missed Perkle (the yellow and blue) from that list for starters

Though the team don't come out to it. It was nice to hear a blast of Mr Big at halftime
Out of the songs above my preference would be for Acquiesce to be used
