EPL Man U

Disagree.

Relegated and replaced by who ? Brentford ? I think football is better for having the 50,000 atmospheres Newcastle generate rather than the soulless 12,000 Bournemouth get. You obviously disagree but give me Man Utd v Liverpool or Man City v Chelsea at 4pm on a Sunday rather than Bournemouth v Watford.

I respect your view though that you’d find the latter game more enthralling. Everyone is different.
Yes would like Brentford to be promoted
As you say we are all different. I disagree with the entitlement of big clubs having to be at the top (as they have far more money)
In my view it was far better when Forest won Division 2 then went on to win Division 1 ( and then the European Cup)
Tedious with the 'big 5'

You are probably in a minority of a handful who’d rather watch Watford v Brentford in the PL than Liverpool v Manchester United.

Each to their own.

Sometimes I quite like watching Liverpool or Man City - whether you like the teams or not, there is at times some beautiful football. But actually, matches involving the 'lesser', far more evenly matched teams are a better watch. Watching games involving teams you don't care about, on the telly, is an almost completely different experience to watching a live game where the outcome really matters to you though. I do pity those who 'follow' their teams by tuning into Sky/BT and sitting on the sofa...

I don’t feel sorry for Man U or Chelsea ... at times find both fans rude at times.
And l do recall the Chelsea fans , thought they would stand in the LR but they seemed to fall out on to the pitch .... l can’t recall how , l think may be they got lost or something like that ??‍♂️
Now l have got confused, l thought this was 1991 but this was when we beat them 1-3 at the Bridge... So what year was this ....

No I’m not ! I do, however, think football needs a strong Manchester United. Just like the PL needs Leeds, Villa etc. I also think United get undue stick. They’re crap right now, we all know that, but I really don’t think Chelsea are much better or Spurs or Arsenal.

James or Williams ? Not much in it. McTominay is further ahead in his respective game than Mount is and does anyone seriously think Abraham will ultimately be a better striker than Greenwood, never mind that other home grown talent, Rashford ?

Chelsea can buy in this window can’t they ? They’re as inactive as United. And Tottenham. Who have Arsenal brought too ? United are 5th, ahead of Spurs and Arsenal. United are a convenient target. Truth is there’s one outstanding team and another very good but faltering one. The rest are pretty sh*t.

Are there any like for like Man Utd players who are better than Liverpool’s, do you think?

I blame the way the Premiershi*e is set up for the fall of some of the once bigger clubs, they've made it that winning does not matter and clubs can aim/settle for 4th place...Everything is just about a European spot as they chase even more money whilst for others it's just about survival.

We are now seeing the fallout from this with a number of clubs and their fans suddenly waking up to the fact that are failing in real terms, it's also having a knock on affect in the Efl as finishing 6th and a play off place is looked at as ok whereas the reality is these clubs are often several points behind top spot/Auto promotion and in the bigger picture would normal be viewed as a big failure
