Arsenal v Leeds kicks off at 19:56 on Monday. Surely the oddest kick-off time ever?

That would mean Dickie, Gorrin, Brannagan, Henry, Fosu & Taylor getting rests.

Quite a take up in ticket sales this week, and selling quite well today, but obviously from a base of zero. Current sales of just over 4,500 home fans and Hartlepool are expected to bring 600, so I don't think it'll reach 7,000 Sarge, probably just under 6,000, but it is a hard one to forecast. I'll have another look this evening.

Just over 4,800 home sales, so about 300 sold since 3:30pm yesterday. Better sales than I expected for a game like this. Still think it will end up just short of 6,000 with the 600 Hartlepool fans expected added in.

Like you say, better than expected even with reduced ticket prices. I'd normally expect around 3k for a game like this vs non league opposition.

Very few tickets available is South Stand and North Stand is closed.
I assume SSL fence end has been closed, if so, they need to open it up asap or a block in North Stand to give people an option of a good seat alongside side of pitch.

So this won't be a sit where you want situation, we have block booked seats so we can sit together.

I imagine that we will have a fairly strong side out today. The money for winning is £135k plus there is a decent chance of getting a big 4th round tie or another winnable one to progress. You can never been too confident in cup games, but I think we'll have enough to win this comfortably and still rest a few. I also think it will give an opportunity to get a few back into the goals so would maybe include Taylor and also look to give Fosu a run out off the bench to get a bit of confidence back.

I can fully understand limiting the amount of stands open for leasing.com trophy games.... but for proper cup competitions, personally I dont like this 'customer service' meted out by OUFC for what is the oldest ( and supposedly, ha), most respected cup competition in the world.
I didnt like the only limited areas open for the Posh & Millwall games in the league cup earlier this season either!

Also - closing areas of home stands for a cup game, in a proper cup , is disrespectful of both the opposition and their supporters

imagine if we drew the bindippers away in round four (assuming we get past Hartlepool) , and they closed off parts of their stands , because its 'only' Oxford theyre playing? meltdown on that would rage for weeks

Football clubs , Oxford United FC included, are ALL guilty of disrespecting the oldest club cup competition in the world

FSA point out just how contemptuous football clubs have become regarding the FA CUP - especially the 3rd round, when the (so called) elite are included ....

Hoping we start with strongest team available. No messing around.
Players have a full week to rest before next game.

As long as we sold our allocation I wouldn't give a monkey's toss about the amount of fans that they (or anyone else) could muster up.

4 tickets purchased this morning as a last minute decision. I think a 5K crowd would be magnificent when you look at our historic attendances against non-league opponents.

fair comment @Berliner .... Personally I dont like the sheeplike following of PL clubs disrespect of domestic cup competitions, and most certainly not by OUFC

you could argue Sarge that if only 6.000 home fans attend and then we get Liverpool at home they can give the whole north stand to away fans as home fans have disrespected the f.a Cup and only those there today get a ticket :) keep it quiet there's a voucher today :)

We could of course compensate Hartlepool for the slight by donating all the ticket sales receipts to them. A gesture we have been the recipients of in the past.

Dan Crowley (remember him?) has just scored a great goal for Birmingham.

The team need to work hard today and not take the Monkey Hangers for granted - they will be up for this and have nothing to lose.

Suspect we'll seem some changes, as for who, the million dollar question! Will Agyei get a start as the lone striker? Be interesting to see how it all shakes. COYFY!

I’d go with;
Stevens (if Archer is off give some game time to one of our own)
Long
Dickie
Moore
Ruffels
Baptiste
Gorin
Henry
Agyei
Mackie
