Long night I think, going to pens with Henry first and Mous last to take us through when their children bottle the pens.
 
Them scoring four or fewer and us getting on the scoresheet.

We’ve far exceeded expectations in this tournament so I have no qualms about bowing out.

I’ll be doing cartwheels down the high street if we somehow get through from this one.

So the match is on iFollow and Dutch tv. Can't dexide which one to watch, so I'm recording the Dutch one and going out for a bridge drive.
If we win I will watch both iFollow and Dutch TV over and over again.
Anybody feel like flashing the scores in the other 2 Cup matches?
 
I’m expecting a result which flatters City a little, think we’ll go down 1-5 with a very credible
performance for the first hour, then 3 goals in the last 15 mins.

Any score which betters last years result will be a good effort.

We will need big performances from players like, Dickie, Baptiste, Brannigan and Fosu, all young who must have ambitions to play at a higher level. Show us what you’re about against a top, top side!
 
It will be a hard game without question, but have some fun and you never know what will happen. I think it's right to play Long - gives him another taste of playing against a big team and can hopefully be the nudge to get him pushing on again in his career.

If that CB pairing is true, it should be Mackie time tonight. The U23 league will not have prepared those kids for that sort of player ?

Have a good time tonight, what will be will be, and we move onto the weekend! They have bigger games to come, so now is as big an opportunity as we'll get to win
 
Can't wait for the game tonight I got Dazn so I could watch it absolutely brilliant service man it has everything on there all the efl,premier,boxing all the 3 o'clock games and super cheap.Will be keeping it for sure.

Anyway I just hope it's not 5 or 6 for city tonight keep it respectable. If we do lose I hope it doesn't damage the lads confidence too much 2 losses in a row.. They should forget this loss if we do as a free shot!..

If we go out it's less cup matches to distract attention from the league. Hoping for a playoff place this season. Up the yellows.

3-1 City for me a goal for us would be great..

If you guys want info on Dazn let me know il tell you my setup. Running the free trial at the moment so costs nothing.

Download the live scores app, go to tonight’s scores, highlight the favourites star next to each game and hey presto you will get the live scores from those games as the goals go in

A Jamie Mackie goal gave Man City a rather big scare back in 2012.

Let’s hope from him goes a bit further tonight!
 
Why shouldn’t we give this a right go?
Sitting in and hoping to stop them from scoring will not stop them from scoring.
We have to find a way of turning their bombing on full-backs into defenders and nullify a midfield littered with world class players and all this with a team stretched by recent injury.

It’s a tough call but it is one game that can make some of our players careers.
This one game could propel some of them all the way to the riches of the premiership. Their latent talent has the chance to shine bright on the big stage. Play hard, as a team and the impossible is possible guys. 2-1 to us.

your not asking too much are you? :) not only are you asking our league one team to give man city a scare but a Jamie Mackie goal too...........
 
Bet Robbo tries to keep it tight in first half and then have a go from the hour mark. He said as much n his I follow interview.
 
would we endorse employing similar dark art tactics as those used by Shrews/MK ?

Does iFollow work for Carabao cup games in the Netherlands? Here in Australia it always just flashes up a message "not available in your area"? If you can get it in the Netherlands, then VPN could be an option for me.
 
Yes it works here. I watched the West Ham game live.
